Yeah same here. It takes a lot for him to blow up and sometimes when I'm stressed and impatient I expect him to feel the same too. How dare he not be stressed and impatient!! :P

hopefully u wont get that sick again.....consider getting flu shot next yr, it offers some protection if not all...hope u feel better

Umm..... I did get a flu shot. This strain was a mutated strain not protected by the flu shot.

Hope you feel better too. I just was diagnosed with the Flu Type A today, after I had the flu shot too. I thought I was sore from moving and carting all those boxes...then I spiked a fever. Sigh....what a valentine's day huh?

On the good news front, Peter has his medical interview on the 29th, so hopefully he'll have his consular interview date sent soon. I have a week's holiday the week of March 17th, so we're hoping to get hitched then....we shall see.....

Sorry to hear that...hope u both feel better...yeah unfortunately the flu shot isn't always protective. There is just too many viral strains out there.

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

31 May 08 - Married

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent

19 Jan 10 - AOS NOA1 / AP NOA1 / EAD NOA1

08 Feb 10 - AOS case transferred to CSC

16 Mar 10 - AP received

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I need to expand my data ;)

Christmas cocked it up. Plus, that figure is Packet 3 to Interview date so let's say 2 weeks to hear and 2 weeks to interview. Doesn't seem quite so bad when you split it down.

When are you hoping to leave the UK?

I totally agree with the limbo thing. Though recently I've started to feel less stalled by it all because things are actually happening. But, give it a week or two and I'll be pressing to have it over with.

I'm starting to fret about medical and interview now.

oh, if it's two weeks to hear and two weeks to interview I'm laughing; I'm counting on six weeks to interview :lol:

I have a hazy idea of an interview in mid-March and then a departure some time in the latter half of April... it's flexible though ;)

I'm so sorry, but also weirdly glad, that you know what I mean... it's a strange feeling, isn't it? there's an added dimension for me, because I'm in a third country - I'm not home, and there's no family here, and I've got that as an extra leg of the journey and aspect of the plans :)

I can actually identify with your experience too. I live in California, but all of my family are in Colorado. I have a few friends here, but no family. And none of my friends really understand this whole process, so they're really not much comfort. As for my family...yeah, well, if I hear one more "green card scammer" cautionary lecture I'll scream.

Being on your side of "the process" has got to be tougher though. Hope you've got friends in London who support you.

Yeah I'm banking on 30 days all in from returning Packet 3 to getting an interview. I will twiddle with my spreadsheet further and see if I can come up with a 12 month average. 30 days seems so delightful by comparison with 180 though.

Mox, it's really hard waiting on NOA2, especially in the final 60-90 days when approvals start happening all around your approval date. July was a stacked month admittedly, but when the first July approvals started in November it was pretty tough seeing December and January go by. I hope and think you are in a more favourable position since there were far fewer petitions filed on average post-July. It will happen and when it does, the wait doesn't even matter anymore. Time seems to fly post-NOA2.

StP, I understand some of what you're saying. I'm not displaced from my own country but having lived away from my home county for so many years I do feel a bit out on a limb now I've moved back. Everyone seems to have moved on and really (I never thought I would say this) if it wasn't for my mum's company I sometimes feel I would really despair. I'm glad I don't have to wait on a visa then go and tie up loose ends at the other side of the world before I move to the US though.

My job finishes on Maundy Thursday. So, I was rather hoping that I too could get a late March interview and fly out as soon as possible afterwards. I won't get work during the two week Easter break and I can't bear the thought of doing any more day to day supply teaching. So, fingers crossed we both get our visas by the end of next month.

Hey guys - just showing my face to prove to you all that I love you guys more than my new "hubby" as we are on honeymoon in Hawaii and guess where I am?! :whistle::lol:
