DHL # 9341425332 is going to MUMBAI, INDIA

DHL # 9341425494 is going to NEW DELHI, INDIA

They didnt technically leave NVC until today but the reference numbers are for the 4th.

OMG OMG Just checked the email one last time before going to bed and my inbox had an email from CRIS.

Our NOA2 is on its way. I-129F APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

I am so happy I am smiling my broadest smile and am crying at the same time! and this too two days before Bhushan's birthday! Couldnt have gotten a better gift!!!!

Things moving really well now. I'm so happy for Julez and teach. Funny thing is I would have made my original date on 3rd May, but never mind. I prefer being safe...back to the stressing thing again. I'm not going to relax until I'm walking towards Nick. I still just keep picturing getting declined because of finances.

Haha - doesn't it freak you out about moving? I am ok at the moment - nervous about next month but I had an awful night sleep with lots of dreams about immigration, wedding, visa, moving etc - has left me feeling panicky and tired - very lame I just know that as soon as I get back next month it is going to hit me that I will be leaving the country in a few months and I just don't know how long/easy it is going to be for me to settle down and get used to the idea - I've been focussing so much on what is in front of me that I am not mentally prepared yet for the move... ah well - at least I have you guys when I start freaking out

No touch, No approval. I cannot stand it. I have no idea how long I have to wait. I applied on July 27th, but nothing since. Now, USCIS website said June 18th. ummm.

GRATZIES!!!! I am soo happy for you!!! It is great we have more of those NOA2s out of the way - will be a grand day indeed when that NOA2 column on the spreadsheet is all filled out... Speaking of - has anyone heard from Audrey? I haven't seen her around for ages and I wanted to know if she had heard anything about her NOA2/RFE yet?

On another note, I had an e-mail from Jeremy and it made me laugh because it was just like reading a post on here:

Jackass at NVC proceeded to have a small go at me for calling so early

and to give it at least 4 weeks. He asked me for the notice date and

then had a nice little 'That's way too early. You need to wait at least 4

weeks.' and then told me not to call back before January 15th, and

even then not to expect anything and that it could take up to 90 days. I

felt like I was talking to USCIS again for crying out loud - well,

except of course I wasn't trying to get anything more than 'we haven't got

it yet.'

And then again I'm particularly sensitive when it comes to people

getting cross at me over the phone:P Ah well. Why can't they add it to their

automated system - it's not like I'm looking for anything particularly

special, just 'Have you flipping got it yet?? Great, you got it! Have

you flipping sent it off yet??'

As for your NOA2 hard copy, you do need it for AOS, so I'd really chase that one up with CSC.

You can also call Dept. of State (DOS) to see if you file made it to NVC. Its usually easier to get through to them.

Their # 202-663-1225 Option 1, then Option 0

And Congrats on the interview dates, it is really wonderful that the timing has worked out so well for people!

For my part, I have tried calling NVC both Friday and Today and can not get thru (will try again later tonight), hoping CSC has forwarded our petition by now...it has been over a month since USCIS approved our case and we still have not received the hard copy of NOA2. I called about getting another copy and was told I would need to file a I-824 which can take 6 months to process and seems to carry a nice $340 filing fee...so now I need to do a bit of research and see exactly what we need the hard copy of the NOA2 for, if anything.

Other than that I've been sitting here, quietly staring out the window...trying to figure out how an ordinary person could collect $340 for doing something that takes 20 seconds...armed robbery is the only thing that has come to mind.

Oh, and Happy New Years!

Oh that just makes me sick that they would CHARGE YOU for THEIR mistake!! LAME is all I can think of. And then make you wait 6 months for it too? #######?

Not only that, the reason I need the document is to apply for AOS; which means once I finally get the NOA2, it will be sent straight back to them. It is like dealing with the mentally ill.

I know the letter we wrote to ours was useless but some people get lucky I guess

I had this same issue before with USCIS, they wont forward my approve petition to NVC and I called called and called, wrote them letters but they didnt do anything even with congress intervention until I had to file I-824 Notice of action on approved petition. I spent almost 2 years dealing with this issue. Wish you good luck.

Thank you and I am really sorry to hear about that and I was almost sick! It is truly outrageous what these people can get away with.

Luckily I had good news today when I finally got through to NVC (called at 7:30 EST on the dot) our petition had been forwarded by USCIS and is now onroute to the Embassy so we are two bunny hops closer to a visa.

I will call my congressman and I will continue to chase it up but so far I have not had much luck, just going in circles...on to round 5. If it were not for the news from NVC this morning I'd still be wallowing in despair, but I feel a bit stronger now. I don't know about PC, but that really is what it has been like so far... there is no logic and no discussion. My grandmother had Alzheimer's I helped care for her for 3 years it was never easy...but USCIS is actually worse.... So yeah, thinking about it the comparison is unfair, I apologise.

On that note I better update my timeline....HA!
