We are going to make our wedding date!!! getting married Feb 16th, 2008!!!!!!

Ok - small celebration - nothing as big as all you guys But my agency just phoned and they will write me a letter to confirm I will be comeing back to work for them on my return from the US next month - yippee!!!

I really am happy for you guys.

But I'm having a stressful day already, and I need to vent. We received our Packet 3 on December 13, which was 3 1/2 weeks ago, and it still hasn't been sent back in. We have a lawyer and I was so happy she was going to take care of this paperwork for us because honestly my SO is a huge procrastinator and I hate having to get on his back to do things (he actually asked me, "Is there a deadline for this stuff?" like he could wait or it wasn't important to get it in ASAP?!). So she was missing some information from him and emailed him about it and luckily he was with me when he was reading it, so we went over it together and I knew that the answers had been given back right away, and this wasn't something I was going to have to worry about for days or weeks or anything. So this morning I email our lawyer to find out what date Packet 3 was sent, and she says she emailed Scott several times last week and never heard back from him! I sent her the answers but I'm wondering if she's missing more (and asked her but have not yet heard back). I *hate* that I have almost no control over this part of the process, being the USC. I see all these people's timelines where they sent in their P3 like the very next day. I feel like we are so behind. And to add to all this, the Montreal embassy will not consider us in line for an interview until they've received P3. Then we have 4-6 months MORE to wait for our interview! This is killing me. All this waiting and waiting. I feel like it's NOA2 all over again.

*hugs* awww - I kinda know what you mean - I nag Jeremy over and over but he just... procrastinates... as a result he entrusted someone else to sort out his old car and now we have a bill of over a grand to pay post-wedding

We get married in five weeks and he still has no suits/shirts/etc - his family have no means of getting down to the venue... etc etc - you get the idea!! It's a nightmare - so all I can do is sit back and panic!! I figure he wouldn't want to experience my wrath so he'll get it sorted even if it is all at the last minuet

Nick is exactly the same, absolutly nothing in life is urgent. His mammy is the same. Where as I am one of those folk who stresses about everything before I have to. Mind you I think I stress enough for me plus several others.

It has to be a male thing! Bhushan is the same! I was literally pulling my hair off waiting for the G-325A! I cannot even begin to imagine Packet 3 yet!
