How can we check our interview online? I have been researching this and I can find the page but do we enter the MNL/LND etc numbers?

I have tried the MNL number but get told it is not found.

I have tried older numbers trying to guess them to see if I'm doing the right numbers but they dont work either.

You can't check for it online! However, you can call the Dept. of State (DOS) at 202-663-1225, select option 1, then option 0. Give them you MNL # and they can give you updates.

Well Jeremy tried calling NVC yesterday and got a message to call back after 6pm EST because all operators were busy - grr!!!

I think they update the interview dates around the 15th of every month. So it may not show up until around January 15th.. Thats just what others have said on VJ. not 100% on that

Haha - well I'm not even worrying about AOS yet - I figure one step at a time Once I am there then Jeremy and I can figure it out together - we'll prolly move to a different forum and hang out annoying all the old timers with stupid questions It'll be like being a n00b all over again

@ debz: don't stress abt the interview! you have sponsors and you have a good educational background and you make your own money in your homecountry! as far as i know, problems happen, whenever people don't speak english, have no job experience or educational background and the USC is unemployed, phisically and mentally not able to work or anything alike. they see at the interview that nick spent the last 6 months with you. as long as you have a sponsor everything will be just fine

about AOS: i will do my homework about that as soon as i have my interview lined up. i have already been to a visainterview because of my J1, so somehow i am not that stressed about it (yet).

we will go to the justice of the peace the day after i arrive, so i can get my working authorarization ASAP.

but yep, it seems to be a lot more complex than the I-129F.

dang it, where the heck is my package??? i am going NUTS over this.

Is it really that complex?! I literally don't know anything about it yet - figured we would just have to send off more money and forms then wait around for ages again

Happy New Year to you and all. I think all this 'new' stuff is terribly exciting (and a little daunting). I'm in full agreement with you about the year to come, though I'm still enjoying the thought that 2007 was the best year of my life to date. If 2008 is better than the last year (and i'm pretty sure it will be for all the reasons you outlined) then we are all going to be very happy indeed .
