I found out mine hasn't even been mailed yet!!! My hopes of early feb interview fading fast! I just want it all done so I can get down to making plans without the stress.

Am I reading correct......most of us will have interviews post 31st jan....there for our visa fee going up from $100 to $131

When do we have to pay that?!!? I knew we had to pay for our medical but I didn't realise we had to pay more!! Do we have to pay in USD?

you pay it at interview! Not sure if it needs to be in $ or £equiv. They do take credit/debit card but apparently the machine breaks often.

Julez, then we will have the same wedding date! (I hope) we planned our Feb 16th wedding back in July. Also a small event but really lovely at this gorgeous old mansion here in Seattle. I am holding onto hope that we will make it but am prepared to push it a week or two. it just works out so well with my schedule (I am a high school teacher and we have mid-winter break then) so I have time off of work and Matt's parents went ahead and bought plane tickets for that week back in September (against our advice!!). I can't help but be hopeful that we make it. I keep looking at the calender and going ok.....so if the interview was as late as Feb 5th, that would allow time for the POE stuff and his passport to get couriered back to him....but if it was as late as the 7th......oh I don't know. Here in Washington he has to be here 3 working days before the wedding to get the marriage license so he would have to be here by tues Feb 12th to make any of this a reality. I will be on pins and needles until we hear our interview date. and then, well, we have either made it or we haven't!!!

When you send back packe 3 include a letter and proof that the stuff is all booked, bought and paid for. I bet you'll make it! Good luck! I hope we both make the Feb 16th date!

Congratulations to the lucky ones with Noa2! Happy to see that USCIS is working. At the moment I really hate those guys. They TOUCHED us on 12/12/2007 then on 13/12/2007 and since then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It`s not enough that we`ve been waiting patiently for almost 4 months but this seems too much for my nerves!
