I know people have gotten expedited interviews with congressional help. Not sure about to NVC, but it never hurts to ask! When dealing with the congressman, he will need to complete a release of information form and mail that to the congressman. This gives them the authorization to make an inquiry.

Oh Debz - thanks so much for the spreadsheet update It is so much more useful now because I can see how many days I am at in direct comparison to how many days other people were on when they got approved Nothing to worry about yet it seems but it could be anytime soon! So so exciting!!

I've had a tragedy.......Tried on wedding dress to see what size heels I can get away with and my mum cut her finger and bled onto my dress. We managed to get the blood out with a slightly damp cloth but it's stained the silk with a water mark. My mum says you can't see it because of the sheen on the dress but I can see it and I know its there. But nothing I can do short of buying a new dress for the sake of a wee water mark.

Weedebz - give a call to a wedding dress shop - I have heard that you can get ink and blood out with hair spray. It has worked for me in the past on my silk blouses. It's worth a try.

Nah - I e-mailed Jeremy although we have sent a letter to someone before - haven't heard anything back though but I'll see if I can dig out the letter

My mum feels really bad. She has found a dry cleaners in a near by town that specialises in wedding dresses so she going to take it there during her lunch break (only 5mins drive from where she works). I hope it can be sorted.

Don't forget to mention the hair spray - they can use that to get the stain out.

having worked for many years in bloodied scrubs etc, soak the spot in cold water, very cold. dont wash it. if you wash it with any soaps ot hot water then it will set. unless for some reason water will damage the dress

just soak the area

Nice. A Chinese visa approval. You are about 7 days ahead of my NOA1 notice. Hopefully I also get the petition approval without some RFE.
