A very excited congratulations to Bluebelle!

Plus I found something that might encourage Jeraly; A UKer who received their NOA2 on 27th September has got an interview in London on the 7th December. The application got through the NVC by the 16th October. See the corresponding thread here

Let's hope Bluebelle's approval kicks off a flurry of July approvals. It doesn't seem *that* long since the first non-expedited June filers started. :)

OMG - that is *so* exciting that we have had an approval!!! I must say I thought I would feel totally jealous and granted - I do kinda wish it were me  BUT!!! Doesn't it give us all hope?!!?

Also - am thinking that Rob & Jin is right - I mean they predicted things were going to start moving so I think maybe they have a sixth sense... at least that is what I am telling myself!!!!

Haha - that's my birthday :D

It is scary - I did the math too and figured I *could* be approved in 3 weeks - although realistically I am expecting(!) before the end of the year...

And at the moment I have an uncontrollable urge to hug all the July filers - we defo need a meet and greet (and drinks/lunch/party) at some point when we are all there - I'm feeling a whole weekend might be in order!!!

has anyone ever done this with forum buddies? my other forum does, regularly - we had a long weekend away in Canada in 2005 (participants from: Montreal, Ottawa, Texas, Detroit, LA and London), and then a year later in Kent (participants from: Texas, LA, Dublin, Estonia, Montreal, Kent, Braintree and London)

that was the BEST weekend; I hired us this amazing house with a huge 'music room' and we hung out in there all night, and went on excursions during the day - Dover castle, Canterbury, etc

and loads more of us have met at various times and in various places :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
