Hmmmm...notice of removal of conditions interview

I was kind of hoping that we would not have to go to interview for removal of conditions, especially since we had an interview for the initial greencard. Not that it will be a problem in any respect, just that it's more time off work, more stress etc. I honestly thought that since we had sent so much evidence, an interview wouldn't be necessary and recently I haven't seen many VJers who have been called for interview, but most seem to have got their removal of conditions approved without interview with far less evidence.

This is what we sent:

34 Civic Center Plaza.

Parking's ####### is you get a late appointment.

No cell phones allowed in the building - they make you take them back to your car if you bring them in the door.

Starbucks opposite

It's about five miles from where I work, but such an inhospitable place and we were there for about 2 hours last time and although the lady was very efficient she came across as pretty hostile! Trying not to work myself into a state as I know we have tons of evidence and we absolutely DO have a legitimate marriage in every sense. I'm just tired of all the hoop-la and having to try to convince someone else of what everyone who knows us already knows to be the case.

Overkill? They might just be curious who sends in a package that fat. I know I would be.

Seriously, though, I think besides those that cannot be approved outright, they randomly select some cases that appear solid for interviews. I went through an interview during my own I-751 process back in the days. It was a breeze. Don't worry.

I think it could be a random thing..

Last year I talked to a woman who had the same thing happened to her...

She sent enough evidence, yet she was called for interview..

Her interview last ten minutes, the officer was nice...

She was approved...

Permanent resident with10 year greencard

Sometimes, it has to do with how the first interview went, and the immigrant's country of origin... You will be ok, it is just more hassle. Goodluck

Country of origin? I seriously doubt they check UK citizens more than other countries.
