I just saw that Turboguy's sig says that he and his fiance exited AP at NVC on July 6 (that's like today) and that the documents are on their way to Moscow!

20/09/2006: Sergey proposes to me!

21/02/2007: I-129F Package mailed from Wroclaw, Poland to California Service Center

28/02/2007: NOA1 issued

22/5/2007:Approved!!!!!!!!!

04/06/2007:NVC received case

11/06/2007:Left NVC for Moscow

23/08/2007: INTERVIEW, APPROVED :)

Thanks everyone. I really do appreciate the nice thoughts and congratulations. I am not sure yet exactly what date we exited A/R. We are down in Grenada and since we had been mentally prepaired for a long wait we are spending the Summer together in the Caribbean. I called NVC right before I left for here and there was no change. After we arrived it seemed like most everyone who was on a similar timeline as us exited A/R right before the end of June. I had high hopes that maybe there would be good news when I called yesterday and there was. We were jumping up and down and probably everyone in the other apartments here thought we had gone nuts.

So now we are talking about all the things that go along with the interview and it is nice to be talking about proofs of relationships etc and not what we will do next as we wait out a never ending A/R. Once again, I get to watch timelines and speculate on ours and to check the interview schedule on the Moscow Embassy website. It is fun to be out of the big black never ending hole.

Waiting - Waiting - Waiting
3/6 Called NVC file sent to Washington for "Administrative Review" Told to call back every few weeks. 7/6 Called NVC, A/R is finished, case on way to Moscow. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7/13 On Friday the 13th we see updated Moscow website with our interview on 9/11 (Hope we are not supersticious) 9/11 Visa Approved. Yahoo.
10/12 Tickets for her to America. I am flying to JFK to meet her there. 12/15/07 We are married. One year and a day after filling original K-1
12/27 Filed for AOS, EAD & AP 1/3 Received all three NOA-1's 1/22 Biometrics 2/27 EAD & AP received 4/12 Interview
5/19/08 RFE for physical that she should not have needed. 5/28 New physical ($ 250.00 wasted) 6/23 Green Card received
4/22/10 Filed for Removal of Contitions. 6/25 10 Year Green Card received Nov, 2014 Citizenship ceremony. Our journey is complete.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Just think, now the rest of the process is going to fly by! You've been in limbo for so long, the next 2-3 months are going to seem like nothing!

Good luck to both of you and we'll be standing by for that "visa approved" message.

Thanks Slim and Thomas for the good wishes. Yes, I hope the rest of the journey is quick and easy.

The timing should work out well. We will be in the Caribbean together until mid August and that should just give us enough time to get everything ready for the interview.

Congratulations for hanging in there Turboguy! I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel for you too. I still can't believe Marina actually has an interview end of August. I retained the lawyer in moscow we used to finish seeing us thru the interview . Your roller coaster ride will be over soon , and maybe we can move on. We can handle the rest of the customary red tape once she is here, , because at least we will be together. Hope you went out and celebrated at least one night there on the island :thumbs:

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

01/14/2009 Our little girl, Fiona Elizabeth, was born on Jan. 14, 2009 :-)

Cograts!!!! If your a curious critter like me you can call the State Dept at 202-663-1225 to get your interview date (you will need your NVC case number). Sometimes the US Moscow Embassy site does not update for weeks. Good luck!!!!

Met Dec. 4 2006

1st visit to Russia - Jan. 23-30.

Engaged Jan. 24

CSC recieved and pending - NOA1 March 1

Touched- March 9 - recieved NOA1 hard copy in mail.

2nd visit - March 12 -27

Touched - May 23 (pleeeeeeeeeeeease)

APPROVED MAY 22 (On 5/25 I did the RFE trick and the CSC said it was approved 5/22. The dufus at USCIS was completely positive they were only working on Nov. 2006 petitions)

May 30th- Petition leaves CSC for NVC.

3rd visit - May 31 - August 31 ( If all goes well she will come home with me!!!)

Left NVC June 11th (I called everyday since 5/30 and they never recieved it??? Then on 6/13 I called and it was not only recieved but already sent to the embassy 6/11?? 

INTERVIEW 8/22

July 3rd-Recieved Packet

8/22 Interview was a sucess!!!

8/31 We arrive at JFK. Problem free entry.

10/26 Married!

1/15/08 Sent I-485

2/26 NOA

3/21 Biometrics Appointment

3/29 Received EAD Card
