Waiting to hear from Dee, that her husband is HERE safe and sound! I am so happy for you Dee!

Today, I slept in and now I have a whopping headache. I gotta made a eye appointment, buy some more suitcases and hit the Dollar store for little knick-knacks for the kids! Oooo snaps, not much time left!

this not having a place to stay yet is starting to really bug me. as i've mentioned i do everything waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in advance. The guy he made contact with the other day said don't bother going again until next week because apparently students just finished exams this past week so they should be leaving freeing up some weekly slots. Why on earth do they let out of school so late???? This is college I think he's talking about. UGH.

I'd be getting a lil twitchy about not having a place yet... BUT even Mohamed said the students will cause a problem... SOoooo.. he IS kind right.. BUT where's theres a will theres a WAY :whistle:

Hey all, I've been really busy but finally I have a day off!!! Celebrated by sleeping until 10AM and lazily drinking iced coffee and watching TV talk shows. Later on it's off to the gym (haven't been there in almost 2 weeks )

I'm also celebrating because I FINISHED MY INTERN YEAR!!!!!!!! What a terrible year it was, but now I'm the second-to-lowest person on the totem pole (I used to be the lowest, so it's a step up!)

I made my own iced coffee by cold-brewing it. I read about it on the New York Times and it came out really good. All you have to do is measure out the normal amount of coffee in the normal amount of water, let it sit on the counter for a day. Then you filter it with a strainer to get out the grounds and then a coffee filter to get out the silt. Dilute it with an equal amount of water and you're good to go.

Cheers!

Sharon

I don't care if Monday's blue

Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too

Thursday I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart

Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart

Oh, Thursday doesn't even start

It's Friday I'm in love

Saturday, wait

And Sunday always comes too late

But Friday, never hesitate...

I don't care if Mondays black

Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack

Thursday, never looking back

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head

Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed

Or Thursday - watch the walls instead

It's Friday, I'm in love

Saturday, wait

And Sunday always comes too late

But Friday, never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes

It's a wonderful surprise

To see your shoes and your spirits rise

Throwing out your frown

And just smiling at the sound

And as sleek as a shriek

Spinning round and round

Always take a big bite

It's such a gorgeous sight

To see you eat in the middle of the night

You can never get enough

Enough of this stuff

It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Monday's blue

Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too

Thursday I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart

Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart

Thursday doesn't even start

It's Friday I'm in love

Today is a great day and Hasan is driving alone to the Mosque and I can only pray that he will be very safe and find his way home without any problems. He has now been here for 2 weeks today and life is wonderful. We did the lawn this morning and he is so proud of how the yard is looking so great and green.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

That's funny because I have that article right next to me with the iced coffee recipe! Was it good?

OMG I am so embarrassed. I just wrote an email to a coworker and I put "write" instead of "right". She must think I'm a total idiot. Tip of the day: proofread! Arg! :ranting:

Hahaha oh Jenn that's so funny. Don't sweat it though, you're a wonderful speller.
