Hi,

For any members that have Cuban fiances, this question is particularly directed at you, but I'd like to hear other opinions as well.

I just received my NOA1 notice so it's still in the early stages, but as some people know, getting important documents to Cuba requires having someone take them down personally. Should I wait to send things down, wait to see if I get an RFE or have other documentation to send down or should I just send what I have now? I have someone to take them down now.

How much time is there generally between NOA2 and the case being sent to the foreign embassy?

Thanks

You should have made a couple of signed copies. If you did you should be safe sending her the papers, read the guides they give very good information and what you should be doing.

I was lucky enough to have my Fiancee with me, so I did everything in triplicate before I mailed it in, when she went back home she took 1 of the copies with her, and I kept the 3rd.

Our time went pretty quick but every case and consulate is different, Click on the "my Timeline" link to see, you can also search the timelines for people in your situation to get a better idea.

Sincerely,

Ramos
