Something they have found out and ae not prepared to put in an e mail.

Without context impossible to guess.

thank u Boiler but I have no clue what they could have found out that they couldn't put in an email....I have made calls and everything and contacted my congressman and also a Ombudsman to se if they can get to the bottom of this.So I can know what to do next. I have called Vermont to see if they recieved it and they haven't yet...So I guess I just sit and wait nervously.

Whatever they think they have found out is personal to your fiance and something they assume you may or may not know about. You are not going to hear about it from them. At this point your fiance has applied for a visa. The Consulate is dealing with your fiance only on any personal matters. Whatever it is or isn't, it fits in the category of information that your fiance would be concealing from you. I'm not saying he is. I'm saying they think he is and until they sort it out, they are going to deal with it as if it was confidential between them and the visa applicant.

THank U pushbrk so you mean he has applied for a visa before. Is that what you are saying to me... or that there is something I don't know about him????

No. I'm saying he is the visa applicant. You are the USC petitioner. Since he has applied for a visa, the Consulate deals with him, not you. Your part was to petition for him to be able to apply for a visa. You do not have the legal right to know personal information they may have concerning your fiance. That is between the Consulate and the visa applicant.

I have no idea whether he had an earlier visa application. I'm referring to now, this one.

I should add, they may not ever disclose their suspicions to your fiance either, particularly if they end up granting the visa.

sometimes it takes a long time, again I would advise you Dimples to post and discuss this in the middle east and north africa forum. This is not particularly uncommon in Morocco and there are several people there that can offer you advice specific to that consulate. click this link:

MENA forum

there are some things you can and should probably be doing at this point regarding your case and I am sure someone can help you.

Hi,

Your post caught my eye, as we are in Admin. Processing now for 5 months since the 1st interview. We meet the criteria you described in your post. I am 49, and my male fiance is 30, and we met online, and I am not religious, and he is not a practicing Muslim, and, we are very much in love. But, we are losing our minds with this AP, because it has been since the end of February that he had the 1st interview, whereupon he was told that when he returned some paper, he would get his visa, and that was early March. What do you think? Also, I moved from my permanent address of 15 years to a temporary one in another state. I plan on returning to California with my fiance. Do I need to give them this temporary address? Anything of value you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Carol

The Moroccan Consulate has a lot of petitions from older female USC's for younger Moroccan males.

Many of whom have met on line and are not of the same religion.

So a hard Consulate for others to get through.

he was told to return a paper?? did he do that? what was the paper? did he get a letter from the consulate? did he scan it and send it to you? if there is paperwork missing he has just 1 year to provide it.

as to the address...will you be able to receive mail at the old address? it is ALWAYS a must to inform USCIS of your change of address.
