Just checked the USCIS website and went to the processing times post, and as usual an automatic computer update just moved the dates they are up to from January 13th to February 13th....That's so annoying! I wish they had actual figures better than an automatic change of a date!

4/20/07-returned to Bogota to see her

5/18/07-sent out I129f

5/19/07-returned to Bogota to see her

5/21/07-received at VCS

5/28/07-Received NOA1

It's funny how during the first couple of weeks i was so relaxed thinking, it will go by fast....but little by litle my days got longer and longer...thats whe i really started the stressing!! Thats when i just started reading and learning more about the process and how important it was to be prepared for the interview..with documentys, proof etc..... When i did this preparing it easily killed about a month to two months of the waiting time...I read and took notes, now i feel comfortable that im going to be ready for the interview and not rushing at the end...that is when i get my NOA2 :blink:

You know, I think that's why so many VJers are successful. because we have so much time to prepare. I'm not even going to begin gathering all the needed documents for the next step for at least 3 or 4 weeks more. Byron, you are like 7 or 8 weeks ahead of me in total waiting. I'm sure I will soon get to your stress level. But I wont allow it to affect me until I've been waiting for 10 weeks. Otherwise, i'll be bald by the time I see my Sasha next month. Isn't stress lovely??? but, Byron, you should be getting very close. I'm watching you closely everyday and I'll be the first one to scream when you get an approval, my friend!

Thanks !!!! I'm actually not stressing at all right now...in the beginning I was but now, nothing...the days seem to be going so much faster now too...As far as being closer, It's a ####### shoot the way VCS is working now a days....to me, when it comes it comes...the ONLY thing that WOULD make me stress is an RFE...that would get under my skin so bad!!! Lets hope for the best...and you too Jason, hopefully VCS gets their act together and you and everybody else gets their elusive NOA2!!!!

Its a good thought - but i'm having trouble sleeping i'm afraid it will be that way until i get the approval!! It's an ironic ironic world.

December 31, 2006 - I call to wish him a Happy New Year (It was 3 am his time)

May 14, 2007 - Fly to Syria with my family to meet

May 18, 2007 - His entire family comes to my house to ask for my hand - I say YES!

June 15, 2007 - We get engaged in the church and have a reception for our families (it's the only "wedding" his family will see)

June 22, 2007 - I come back to the US

June 24-July 27,2008 - lots of research on VJ and work on gathering the papers needed...

July 31, 2007 - I-129F package received by VSC - YAY!!!! I was sooo excited getting the return receipt in the mail - on my way out to look for bridesmaids dresses :) Now all I need is a case number so I can track online - I'm so anxious!!!

August 13, 2007 - NOA1 - YAY!!!

JANUARY 8, 2008 - APPROVED!!!!

May 14, 2008 - he's finally here

June 22, 2008 - "Wedding Bells"

August 7 - Adjustment of Status and EAD sent

August 11 - Dates of both NOA1 for AOS and EAD

and we wait....

September 4, 2008 - Biometrics appt in Phila for both AOS and EAD

Are there any other sites similar to this one? I found this place by mistake back in early 2005. Never took it seriously until I began this K1 last month. I dont think I'd be able to survive this without it. And just think, there are thousands of petitioners who have never even heard of this place. Poor souls!
