I'm sensing a lot of tension in the air, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head.

pancake3.jpg

I am really depressed now. :(

I can't see the bunny. All I see is a little red X.

I WANT TO SEE THE BUNNY! :crying:

Here! :P

bunny_pancake.jpg

Hey! Are you trying to trick me?!

That's not a picture of a bunny with a pancake on his head. That's a picture of a bunny with TWO pancakes on his head!

Momma didn't raise no dummies you know! Except for my brother Orville, but it's not his fault the mule kicked him in the head. Every day. For 5 years. Well... maybe it is his fault a little. He knew that mule didn't like to wear a dress and play spin the bottle.

LMFAO!!!

The Washington Post Reporter called today for an interview. She asked a lot of questions about our process, how it affects us and how VisaJourney is a needed support system for us becasue USCIS doesn't give iformation or support. I made her well aware of how inept they are and how the heart of VisaJourney is to provide information and support that USCIS should be doing. Also how the delays in adjudicating out petitions impacts us financially, physically and emotionally. I gave accounts of how we get misinformation and how inept the ENTIRE process is from start to finish. She said she will write the article this week should publish in about a week as well...Im sure we will see it very soon. Cross your fingers...I say...we ALL buy a Washington Post...cut out the article and ALL mail them to our senators, representatives and vermont director...with a small note stating this is just the first of the installment of educating the public how our tax payers dollars are spent. Maybe remind them an election year is coming..its thier chance to make an impact.

Well, don't consider it a waste of time because you probably did get some valuable information.

My experience with the first teleconference I sat in on month or so ago was much better.

I got to actually ask questions.

The problem NOW is they are scared, really scared and they know people are mad as h*ll!!!! They didn't want anyone to say ANTHING to USCIS because it would get out of control real quick!!!

On other calls there were probably 15-20 people.....this time 200.

Just like with the applications, once the numbers start to increase and get unmanagable, they 'dummy-up' and say very little.

Keep sending your e-mails to the Ombudsman, at least he got them (USCIS) into a room to hear our complaints first hand. No doubt, he's going to forward this on to them.....and like he said, they need to ACT now!!! There is no excuse for this mess they got themselves into. They don't even know what their employees are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They know that they are feeding us BS so they are doing what they do best....feeding us BS.

1 question: Why is the whole system is so damned outdated?!?!?!?!?! We are living in 2007. Why is the system 40 years old? Insane

What lame excuse do they have for not updating their system. Instutitions and businesses all over the world have computerized their systems, they use the internet, some don't even want paper applications anymore and we are still stuck in the stone age

I can see why they wanted people to "submit questions" rather than having people voice their questions. The sad thing is that they are aware of the problem and they are doing nothing about it. If this was not a monopoly we would have taken our business elsewhere but we are stuck.

I hope that they were scared today. Scared that we are aware that they are feeding us BS and that we are not going to take it anymore.

They got themselves into this mess. They need to fix it. Maybe they should cut some executive salaries to buy a couple of computers to bring them into the 21st century.

I honestly cannot understand what they are doing.

Morons

Zee, I agree with you, but I think that they are using this as a "Cop Out" excuse. The problem is not that they dont have the best automated systems. They were making due with those systems and pumping out petitions in less than 40 days only 5 months ago. The problem is their inept management and their lack of foresight. A blind man could have told you that there was going to be a rush to beat the price increase. One big question would be if the Dept of State consulted them about the H1-B fiasco before they decided to Kow-tow to the lawyers and extend the deadline. If they did and USCIS said its OK, then USCIS is more stupid than I originally thought.

This is why I wanted you all there on this call. The employment Visa people have the power right now AND the ear of USCIS, why do you think their petitions are taking priority?

If we kick up enough of a fuss, we might get a small slice of their attention-->hence the e-mails to the Ombudsman, Senators, etc. Don't you think they (H1-B visa folks) are worrying him (Ombudsman) to death with their concerns? We have the same right to demand answers.

Don't give up, GET MORE frustrated than you already are and keep up the pressure on these people. If we say nothing and do nothing, this situation is only going to get worse and we'll continue to get dumped on. As long as we stick together and keep getting articles written, write to our elected officials, USCIS, the Ombudsman, Oprah, whoever and whatever, someone knows that we are NOT happy and they need to address OUR concerns also-->not just Employers and their employees, you know?

Really, I hoped we might get a chance to speak today, but as I said, they didn't want this. Sort of like a press conference with the President...do you think he just goes out there unprepared? No!! Reporters submit their questions beforehand so he doesn't look anymore stupid than he already does. My point is, it's all BS and YES, we are more informed about what is going on than their top level executives at USCIS because these things are affecting our REAL lives and we are doing our homework.

If you are angry, great....if you are disgusted, great. I'm glad you got to hear, first hand, how this agency has negatively affected our lives, our plans and our happiness.....now you see why I didn't want to be quiet, from the start, about it. I just could NOT wait and hope and pray.

Let me tell you something, there is A LOT that goes on in middle-management in government agencies that the top officials have NO idea about, trust me on this. Does that excuse their ignorance? No, but when your paycheck is on the line, you learn to keep quiet and TRY to clean up the mess without ANY of the blame coming back on you. It's all politics and shady business.

By continuing to raise our voices, they have got to know what is going on and they can't say they didn't.

So, please don't see this as a waste of time, it's just another cruel wake-up call that this thing is NOT over and we have a LONG fight ahead of us.

Quote by Pkewl--> "Amen to that...I couldn't agree more...

It was ALL(I think 100%) EMPLOYMENT VISA and the related receipt DELAYS and NOT even a minor mention of EXTENSIVE K1/K3 PROCESSING delays that we have been facing for weeks/months now.. aarrgghhhh... "
