Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

Seriously .....I really am beginning to realize how this process is such a range of emotions!!!! I was so happy when i tried the RFE trick and they told me that it was with an officer and after today hearing , " sorry sir but i dont know how or why somebody told you this because it says here that its still just sitting and pending" and " well you are only 4 months into the process so you are still within the 6 month window for petitions like yours" argggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .......I am at rock bottom again.....wait , i think I need a phsychiatrist, im getting a twitch.... ...I know that they are doing their job but it really irks me the way they talk...its like the "Customer Service " people are thumbing their nose at me.... ...they have no clue how hard this process could be

I can't afford to hire a shrink again.....I rather spend that money on something bette. Plus, I "dumped" him saying I was going to be away for a week and I will call him after my trip..I never went away, never called back..hahahaha!

Btw, I'm reading right now the "are you fed up with uscis yet"....

No one told you not to send letters, we just dont care if you do or not...

My God! I did miss a lot! hahaha!

We all know now that USCIS will say anything to get you off the phone. Obviously, honesty nor empathy is a requirement for their job.

UH OH...My adjudication date dropped from the 28th of Sept to the 27th...is that a good start to Wednesday...

Mine was at Oct. 19 today, Oct 20 early evening and now at Oct 19 again. I also see that USCIS timelines increased by one day again (139 for CSC and 123 for VSC) This is insane.

Hi All, congratulations to California, fingers crossed for us Vermontians. Question: how can my estimated NOA2 calculated here on Visa Journey can go down by one day if there has not been a single approval coming from Vermont? Maybe it's from that one VSC approval! Mine fluctuates from Nov to Dec...I'm going to stop looking.

lari, I'm REALLY not an expert with spreadsheets and formulas, but I believe one way it could happen is if someone who had already received their NOA2 joined VJ and created a timeline, or an existing member updated a timeline with older information (in reality it would probably need to be more than one person to affect the results, but you know what I mean)... the new information would then change the results slightly, for example if their NOA1 - NOA2 wait was only 110 days, and the average had been showing longer, the new information would bring the average down slightly for everyone, even though there have been no new NOA2s

does that make sense?

I agree...I did some investigation..and maybe Im wrong..correct me if I am..but the K visa timeline shows that VSC averages 114 days for approvals over the last 90 days..but thats for ALL K visas (k1 AND k3) It doesn't seperate them. So...yes, if someone updates late or joins after the fact and does a timeline that CAN affect the number a day or so...I counted my days...from the day I SENT my petition to my Adjudicaiton estimate date and its a direct match of 114 days. (June 11-October 24) But thats just the average..If VCS suddenly picks up and spouts out approvals in a matter of a week...these dates will change VERY VERY fast.

In other words...HANG IN THERE...once VCS gets moving..it WILL go fast. Be prepared...the tidal wave IS coming.

While this thread is intended for the K1 filers...we should also celebrate the K3's coming from VSC...because those K3's are ALSO included in our estimated adjudication dates

I didn't think I was crazy...I think so to...even IF CSC gets more petitions...this isn't right...I know they have loads of petitions..I know they are undergoing changes...but 1 approval in 8 days???? I don't get it...

I mean, I can understand that the number of approvals from VSC is going to be lower than CSC given that CSC has a bulk of the petitions (prior to the July changes) but 1 vs 30 from CSC is just not right.

I am really itching to know what they are doing at VSC. The fact that there is nothing coming out of there is strange. Even when CSC had 3/4 of the petitions you knew that come the 3-4 month mark YOU WERE GETTING AN APPROVAL. I find it hard to believe that it is solely the redistribution of petitions that has caused this massive unacceptable delay.

I really wonder what is going on there.

it's been said before, but one of the main explanations I would suspect is that since VSC has been running way ahead of their 'six month' deadline on these particular visas, now when staff are needed for other things, they're pulled off K1 and K3 to get those done, as there's still loads of leeway... they may well be keeping one jump ahead of the wolf on all of them, so as various deadlines approach, that visa or other documentation gets prioritised

and of course there is the distinct possibility that approvals are still dribbling out, but that for the last couple of days they haven't included anyone on VJ... or anyone on VJ who's come in to update their timeline...
