I'll be hitting the 120 day ,4 month mark on Wednesday. It's also my 50th birthday. I was so excited a couple of months ago knowing that petition approval would be the greatest present ever. I've been house shopping too but can't sign my name on the dotted line until ??????????????????????????

A Personal note : There's no governmental agency, no matter how hard they try will make me feel any worse than I did after the end of a mostly wonderful almost quarter century of marriage. I've found my future now and she's TEMPORARILY living in another part of the world !!

Nothing for us this week :crying::wacko::help::angry:

were on day 130 since NOA1 on our I-130 and day 113 since NOA1 for our I-129...!!!

Ive also been following the April filers to see if they are getting any action and one of the girls that was also waiting for VSC just got her NOA2 on Friday...!!!

we were gonna file in January originally but on New Years Eve I got really sick and was off work for 3 weeks, was in bed the whole time.. so we didnt start getting everything ready until the end of February.. I regret that everyday..trying to stay optimistic...getting harder everyday!

WE JUST GOT OUR APPROVAL, .....YEEEAAAAAHHHHH, my husband called and scanned the paper over to me. No notice on the computer , it came with the mail. Notice of Approval, from July 11. ...After 104 days waiting.... I am sure that your will come soon too. Hang in there.....

We filed for both because when our DCF -plan crushed back in january,

My husband was told by the Embassy,that the K3-route will take only 2-3 months.So if we wanna be together ASAP,we should file first the I 130 (then receipt blabla,)AND then the I-129F.

Anyway,Your note brighten up my day......

Zolanden, I have also a little daughter, this is a very hard time for us , because we have to be sooo strong, we have to keep the smile in our face for the kids... they dont understand.... stay strong... for her...you will see light in the tunnel by next week and than you will feel better... I know to see you next week at the NVC site. Stay strong....

Zolanden...I will tell you something else....I still have to go a long way and dont even know if I will ever return to my husband... because we have to file for I- 601.... I was to long without paper in the staates... for more than 12 years...It is hard for me also..this separation from kids and husband... it is a challenge...ok...we will make it... we have no choice..because we wanna go back ....

Nothing for us too. No even touches. I have the feelings that people only with I 130 are approved faster. Let's hope that with the new week we and all other will receive approvals.

I had heard other people mention in the past also that they thought I-130 only filers were approved more quickly, but I don't think it's true. I made a couple spreadsheets of just CR-1 vs. K3 and didn't see much difference in approval times at all. On the other hand K1 visas were approved much more quickly than either K3 or CR-1.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
