Does anyone know what kind of companies the indicated line below is indicating?

I am trying to figure out what type of company I can work for in Dubai, and take my resident husband with me, without messing up his chances for citizenship due to the physical presence requirements>>>>>>

There are also exceptions for lawful permanent residents married to U.S. citizens stationed or employed abroad. Some lawful permanent residents may not have to comply with the residence or physical presence requirements when the U.S. citizen spouse is employed by one of the following:

*

the U.S. Government (including the U.S. Armed Forces);

*

American research institutes recognized by the Attorney General;

*

recognized U.S. religious organizations;

*

U.S. research institutions;

*****************************************************\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/**************************

*

an American firm engaged in the development of foreign trade and commerce of the United States; or

*

certain public international organizations involving the United States.

Any of the major US Multi Nationals should do. Ford, IBM whatever.

I have seen this a few times, speak to the HR Department. But US Firms seem very reluctant to transfer employees now, I have some friends who work for IBM who have been trying for several years.

I would speak with an immigration attorney about this one... but you really should just wait until your husband gets US Citizenship.. then you can go anywhere you want...
