Hello everybody,

can anyone tell me how can I check if NVC forwarded my k-1 visa application. I already recieved a letter from NVC with a case # MNL *******???. Also, at this point what are the neccesary things to do on my part?

Besides the ff;

Bank and savings letter

employer letter

tax return last 3 years

W2 form last 3 years also

401k letter

stock letter

life insurrance letter

Also, when is the best to do my affidavit of support? Now or wait until she recieved her packet 3 or packet 4?

Do I need to notorized it all?

Thanks for the help.

Call the NVC and connect to a operator. K-1 cases ussualy stay for just about 2 days at the NVC. Its probably on its way.

You may not need all that evidence. If your income is suffcient. Assets are optional. I-134 does not require you to disclose are all your fiances. Just enough to show that you meet the sponsorhsip requirements.

Yes it needs to be notorized, and sending it now would be best. She will receive packet 3 in a matter of days.

More than likely, if you received a letter from NVC, your petition has been forwarded to the embassy. I would not waste $18 calling fee for calling the embassy in Manila. I would just call the DOS in a few days. (202)663-1225. Their computers are online with the embassy's, they can tell you when your medical and interview will be, and when the packet went out to you.

You must get your I-134 notarized, and other than that your good to go. You cab start getting your job letter, and the bank letter, since that takes some time to acquire.

Good Luck to you!!
