Here is a saveable version of G-325A

I noticed that the G-325A PDF from the USCIS site cannot be filled in and saved in Acrobat Reader, while most of the other forms can.

I modified the form so you can fill it and save it in Acrobat Reader. You will have to "Save As" once you fill it in. I tested it at home with Acrobat Reader 7 and it works properly.

Here it is. Give it try if you need it.

Quick question: both of us have to fill one of these up. Does each of us sign their own form, or both forms have the applicant's (US citizen's) signature.

I want to know this so I know if my husband can print this for me, or if I have to sign it here and fedex it to him.

That's funny. I just asked a similar question in another thread.

Glad you found the form useful. It seemed silly that this was the only form you couldn't save without the full version of Acrobat.

Good job. Wish somebody had done this before I don't have Acrobat Pro on any machine.

I had to borrow a designer's computer here at work so I could save the form and e-mail it to my wife pre-filled so she could just print and sign.

Each of you have to sign your respective G-325A's personally. The easiset thing to do is use the saveable form and fill it our for your SO abroad, and e-mail it to them so they can just print/sign and FedEx it to you.

If anyone runs into a similar situation with a fillable but not savable PDF, let me know and I would be happy to run it through Acrobat Pro so they can be saved in Reader.

I just happen to have the Pro version because some of the software I write has to output PDF.

I was reading your post and you said you filed I 130 and I 129F on the same day according to what you have read. But I 797 Notice of Action for I 130 is one of the requirements for filing I 129F. Could you tell me the web page link which tells you thats its ok to file both at the same time.

I was given this advice by an officer at USCIS. I also know of two others who were given this advice. I was told to do this to avoid the confusion that many are experiencing because they sent their I-130 before the fee change and will send the I-129 after the fee change.

Please keep in mind that this advice was given based on the assumption that I would file before July 30. Consequently, you would do well to call USCIS and ask to speak to an officer.
