Just to let you know, there is only one packet -- packet 3 and packet 4 are combined.

The packet will contain an interview date. (we successfully postponed ours btw ..)

The embassy is reachable by phone between 2pm and 3pm, everyday except wednesday. Hold time is not bad, 2-10 minutes. They speak great english and are actually very helpful.

The packet will also contain a lot of paperwork, but apparantly its just a trick. There is a web address where the actual forms need to be filled out, printed, and signed.

Does anyone know if any paperwork with the peru packet actually needs to be filled out? I swear, its really confusing .. they give you all this paperowork, yet in the instructions say to fill out a web form instead.

The DS-156 and DS-157 (for males over 18) need to be downloaded. The instructions that come with the packet are very clear.

Hi,

You need these documentation ... (besides the standard forms)

- Certificado Policial ( You can get it at the Av.Aramburu )

- Certificado de Antecedentes Penales a PARA EL EXTRANJERO

- Certificado de Antedecentes Judiciales a NIVEL NACIONAL para el extranjero

- 2 copies of birth certificate PARA EL EXTRANJERO

IMPORTANT: All of this HAVE to be sealed by the Relaciones Exteriores department.

The originals of all the documents you have sent on the I-129F package. Pictures, Phone calls registry and boarding passes from the date you sent the package until today. ( In general, anything that can proof that your relationship continues )

Rgds,

Martin
