K1 AND BANKRUPTCY

i think as long as you can prove that you now exceed the minimum income requirements (assuming you're the USC), it should be fine..

thanks for the help was curious because want to cover all basis say i file bankrupty in june 2007 and send off the k1 june 2008 i should be safe and not black balled? :huh::unsure:

There are no credit checks to pass in the process. You can file bankruptcy now or during the visa process. Wiping out or getting control of your debt is a positive to your overall ability to support your beneficiary.
