So Im reading through the next phase and I see "Proof of engagement" required.

What exactly qualifies as proof. We were just going to get married a month after she gets here and settles in.

Is it better to go to the interview in Manila with her or not go? Which is better?

How long (aprox) after the interview will she get her visa (if all goes well)?

One of the forms asks "did anyone help you fill this form out"? Is it better to say no or say I helped?

Do I need the Noa2 as csc never sent it and it still says pending on their site.

Thanks.....

Hey Epiphany,

Proof of engagement means that you have to show that you've had an ongoing relationship since the two of you have met. This includes photos, boarding passes for flights, emails, phone records, itineraries, and anything else you can think of (even the engagement ring receipt). The guides will have more info if you're stuck.

If the embassy allows you to be present at the interview, you're definitely more than welcome to go with your fiance. There's no right or wrong answer for this - I consider it peace of mind, really. Some think it adds more validity to "having a real and valid relationship", others go simply because they don't want their fiance to be alone for the interview. Either way, it's up to you. :)

If all goes well, your fiance could have her visa in less than a week.

It's not specifically stated on the Packet 3, but some couples bring their copy of the NOA2 to their interview. The NOA2 will be required for AOS once you are married.

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Here we go again...
