DS-156, DS-157 info "highschool/college"

My fiance is going to fill out the DS-156 online today. She doesn't have the phone numbers for her highschool or college. Basically the same school I think. I searched on the web and can't find any info on it to speak of. It's there, but no real presence on the web. Do they really need the phone numbers of those schools?

I don't remember it even asking for the phone numbers, but I know I didn't provide them if they did.

I wouldn't worry about it, it's not like they're going to call them to verify if in fact she attended school there or not.

I just wrote the name of the school. No address, no phone number.

I had no problem.

THANKS! That's what I was thinking also.

Ummm, just off hand why would a woman be filling out a DS-157 anyway? DS-157 is for males over 16...

The example form given on VJ has a person with the first name of Jane.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=examples

Here is a reference to it that i found. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/lofivers...php/t31266.html

It seems it's up to the individual CO whether or not to require it. I suggest filling it out to be ready in case they want it.
