Today is 85 days from the time NVC approved our petition and still no packet 3 from Guangzhou. At what point do I worry?

I wouldn't be concerned yet but would call the Stateside DOS visa information line at...202.663.1225 then use menu options 1-0-0. Give them your GUZ number and ask the status of the case. If it shows as "loaded", the Consulate hasn't opened the package with your petition in it. If it shows as "Open" then the P3 usually goes out within a few days of the date the status changes to "Open".

You'll want to check out http://www.candleforlove.com for more China specific support including current K1 timelines for China only.

For clarity, USCIS approved your petition. NVC completed their work on your case and forwarded it to the Consulate in Guangzhou. NVC doesn't approve petitions.

NVC doesn't approve petitions. USCIS does. USCIS sent your approved petition to NVC where they completed their part of the process and forwarded the file to Guangzhou. Good luck with the interview.

p3 to p4 is about a month, and p4 to interview is about a month. it seems to vary, but this is a rough estimate.
