My wife and I went to Skaneatekes NY this weekend to take a long weekend, and so it would be in an area near a Tim's so she could get an iced cappy or two. We found out Thursday night that she is pregnant. :dance: and during our drive, we realized the ice cap would be a no go. Anyway, we got to Tim's in Geneva and asked for a decaff. They were able to make it so she was happy, though it didn't taste as good as mine w/the caffine. To make a long story longer, there was no one in the store. DD across the street had quite a crowd. I think it was around 3:30 or so. The people at Tim's said it's usually crowded in the morning. I guess this shows why Tim's doesn't do so well. The car in the pic is mine.

LETS STAY ON TOPIC PLEASE!!! This post is about TIMS!! lots not let the secondary subject of a new exciting baby (congrats) derail this Tims topic!! jeesshhhh!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Oh, I forgot to mention that my wife wanted a travel mug. It came with a free coffee, but since we didn't use it(the coffee that is) we can get a free coffee between now and 2010!!!!! One time use, I know but still.

When it comes to Tims in Michigan there's one in Dearborn on michigan ave, Taylor on Pelham road, Canton on Ford road, Dearborn Heights on Van Born..... I know I've seen more LOL Oddly enough I don't drink it in Michigan unless it really hits me cause it just doesn't taste the same. I find it's a lil weaker and maybe a touch watered down.
