Hey fellow VJers!

Ok... I do not mean to be flooding the forum with threads...but honestly can someone who has been in a similar situation explain to me what is going on with my I-130 petition?? I filed it at VSC on Feb 1 of this year...and it got transferred May 11th......and ever since...I have received MANY touches...but none of them had significant messages...like today I just checked USCIS and got another "last updated" date of 05/29/2007...and its funny because I called CSC using the trick...and they said that my case was still pending with no RFEs or anything :blink: So either I am going crazy...or CSC thinks my paperwork makes a GREAT paper weight...hope everyone else hears something soon because I am going nuts waiting...take care :D

whatever it takes...or how my heart breaks...i will be right here waiting for you... 636.gif

It seems that CSC is going crazy with the amount of work they have lined up. But I'm sure everybody will get approved sooner or later. The NVC is going through the same thing and now we have to wait longer for our forms to be generated.

I hadn't received any touches, until I did the RFE trick and called them. Then I got touches 2 days in a row on both my I-130 and I-129F. I think if you call and ask questions about your petitions, you will get touched as a result of the call. So that's probably what a couple of your touches came from.

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
