Okay I have a bit of a crisis on my hands here. I submitted my original packet for the K1-Fiance visa back in January for my Filipino sweetheart. A couple of things have come up since then.

#1. She is pregnant which I new when I originally filed but did not realize I needed to send a acknowledgment letter etc!

#2. I had originally printed out the initial packet to submit to the Texas Service Center and I was in such a hurry to get the process started I submitted it right away. I scanned in every single document I sent with the intention to print that out at a later time when I had more time and more ink. And then Murphy's law kicked me in the chin and caused a hard disk failure.

I lost all copies of the original documents that I submitted.

I have now received NOA2 and the original documents have been forwarded to the embassy in Manila. I do not have a copy of them to forward to my fiance. I am scared to death we are going to have to restart this process and it is already June (Filed in January!) Can anyone offer any advice? I did read that at some point they should give her the original documents before her interview in the mysterious "sealed envelope" .. Would it be possible for her to open that and xerox the documents and then re-seal it?

And concerning the pregnancy If I send a letter along with other further supporting evidence that she can take to the interview will that be sufficient to relieve any problems with the Visa approval due to the pregnancy (she is 8 1/2 months now)

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

p.s. I tried to search the forums before posting this however I kept getting a error :( so sorry if these questions have already been asked and explained in detail.

The main purpose of sending your fiance a copy of everything you filed, is for reference. Interview questions often center on information in those documents. If I were you, I would simply do the best you can to recreate the I-129F and G325a along with anything else you think might be helpful.

I always get error too

I agree pushbrk, just try and fill them out the same.

I'm wondering if you sent original b.c or anything like that? I don't know what's in the envelope so I can't help you there.

Do you have to change your I-134 to show your supporting the baby as well, that would be another question, sorry :(

It's not a huge deal that you don't have the original papers you filed... More important that you have the NOA2 (if you are at that stage yet)

Take a breath..

It's okay..

You're still in good shape.
