I was approved on May 24 but noticed on the USCIS website that I got touched on the 25th and 29th. Is it safe to assume that next week the NVC will have my case?

I would say that you should check. I would call, the automated telephone answering system does not have my case and did not recognize my WAC# or my MNL#. It is only when I talked to a person that I was able to get answers. I had called them whileI was stuck in traffic on the 60 around 3:45pm. But definately call, you do not lose anything by calling, AND THEY ARE BETTER TO TALK TO THAN THE USCIS People. GOOD LUCK!!

I read somewhere in this forum that non-immigrant petitions are not encoded in the automated system. It goes directly to the embassy of its jurisdiction.

They aren't in the automated system, but if you call and speak to a human, they can tell you if your case has been received/shipped to the embassy. The K1s don't generally stay there long enough to get put into the system - just a few days.

So...yet again, waiting on CSC to do something - just MAIL the stinkin' things already!!

Our file already received at NVC and we were assigned a case number already. How will i know if the package left for Manila embassy, do i have to send them email ?

Hello Vilma.

Better call them ( I called around 8:00am Phil time) and I was connected to an agent. Good thing, I did. I learned that they already sent my case on May 31.

If you will email them, it will take more than two days for them to give a reply.

Well, I called NVC today -- and learned that our petition has gone into Administrative Processing.

This is disappointing. We were starting to make plans -- now we had better stop for awhile ...

Yes, I am using that form. It is the form that USCIS gives you as the most current. As a matter of fact, I have already filled it out and saved it to my computer.

Another question...

I am currently using Photoshop Elements in encoding my answers to the forms (in softcopy) available. Will the embassy accept this? I am printing it in A4. Is this the correct paper size?

Good News! Congrats! Wish you and all VJ members the best of luck. I'm still waiting for NVC to receive our petition. So, in the meantime, I'm gathering more information for those that are ahead of me.
