Honestly? Just because my application got approved ridiculously fast doesn't mean that I don't feel for all the other couples who are going through this process. And in hindsight, I really wish I hadn't said anything because it was pretty crass of me to say something like that. If there was a delete button I'd take the post down.

You can't quantitatively compare the amount of grief and hassle that a couple has to go through in filling out a petition, and I certainly don't feel any less for those that have to wait much longer than others. Just because my fiance lives in the jurisdiction of VSC doesn't mean that we're less entitled to be happy than anyone else going through the same hassle at USCIS, or even less entitled to be angry at the government for the way they're shifting three-quarters of the K visas at CSC.

No need to take it back, Nini&Bee.. we all are in a tough boat no matter how quickly you get approved or how slowly... we all just want to be with the ones we love and it takes a lot to be without them on a daily basis...

You're good in my books

I am sick and tired of people feeling like they need to apologize for going through VSC! I'm happy for you that things have moved so quickly for you! I feel rotten that others have to wait longer. In the end, though, we all deserve to celebrate, regardless of how long it takes to get that coveted NOA2.

After 15 months of trying to just get our foot in the door, you do our time and tell me, would you be spoiled and impatient?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hey, I actually do feel your pain. We went 5 1/2 YEARS without seeing each other. Yes, the distance split us up once but we got back together and when we did, can you imagine our surprise when we found out that we had to keep waiting? If we had any idea that this process was so complicated...

And of course now it doesn't help that neither you or I could give up our lives here and get married there because Egypt/US still haven't straightened out that marriage affidavit thing. I left Egypt on March 31. We should have just gotten married while we could have.

Divorced. To hell with him.
