Congratulations Everyone!!! Yay!!!:dance:   I hope that My Honey and I get approved soon... maybe I should call them today? I did get touched 11/2, and 11/4... maybe I'm already approved, just the online status didn't change?? Now the May filers are getting approved, and neither My Honey or I have any approval... I don't care, just get me the K3 approval.. I'll pay your $1000 fee to adjust ... ;)

Keep your hopes up Gogo... approvals for you, my honey, axp1010, melissahassan and anyone else who is overdue will be coming soon.

There are a lot of people in this thread that are hoping to see your petitions catch up with ours in the USCIS mailroom ;)

DivineMercy, I'm also hoping that the VSC livens up again to approve your I129F. At least you know that your I130 is on the way

Thanks C&J (L)

My I-130 has been sitting at the NVC since July, I never tried to pursue the CR1...

Thanks again everyone!!! However my happiness is partial, since only my I-130 was approved. They told me that my I-129F was still pending because it was sent 2 months appart from my I-130!!! Which makes me furious....like it was my fault that the CSC had "COMPUTER PROBLEMS" in sending out NOAs...

My priority was to get my husband here ASAP....and that was through the K3...I guess I can kiss it goodbye now (if they don't approve soon).

Do you think I can qualify for expedite process? At the USCIS website it tells you can request if there was a USCIS error. I don't know what to do anymore...I am tired of waiting.

Thanks everyone.

Congrats on all the approvals...mine should come through real quick now (mailed out 5/31)....G&A, when will we have an updated chart? I'd like to see where I stand in comparison with the other applicants, since I sent in both forms at the same time. It'd be interesting to see if having sent in the I-130 earlier than the I-129f makes a significant difference. Thanks!

I sent in both forms at the same time at the end of April and I don't see any significant differences, I'm still waiting for my NOA 2's. I think that no matter what you do nothing can speed up your process, we are all in the hands of the slow service centers especially California Service Center.....

YGandMAT.. don't believe everything they tell you. Hang on to some hope. Who told you that? Was it one of those idiots that answer the phones or did you get a real USCIS worker? If I were you, I'd wait a few days and see if the I-129F catches up, if not, do whatever it takes. Try to get it expedited, what's it going to hurt to try? Call your congressman.. do whatever you have to (within legal limits of course). At least you won't feel like a puppet waiting for the puppet master to decide your fate anymore. I called my US Rep two weeks ago. When I called for the 3rd time to find out if they are working on my case they were annoyed that I was interrupting them while they watched the Price is Right (yes it was blaring in the background) they informed me that the "guy" who handles that was out of the office.. I got that line every time. I finally just called my Senator's office and they seem to be more serious. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next few days. Of course I came up with a possible reason for them to intervene not just that I'm tired of waiting. Everyday is a struggle waiting helplessly. If expediting was a possible option for me, I'd try it.

I already had background checks done when I got the job.. also background (financial) checks when I apply for credit cards...    I don't have a criminal background (but I will, if you guys don't hurry it up).. who cares if I get deported?? At least I will be with my wife =0 what is good about being a US Citizen compared to the H1B/H2B Temporary workers who aren't Citizens or Permanent Residents?

HIIII EVERYONE!!!!

GUESS WHAT!!! I HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOO HAPPY. I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE IT...MY I-130 WAS APPROVED ON OCTOBER 30TH.

The strange thing is that I did get a couple of touches a couple days earlier (see my signature), but I never got an approval email, and the USCIS website still shows pending....and today I got the NOA2 hard copy in the mail....

I am so excited. I will be calling tomorrow to check the status of my I-129F....

Thanks everyone for your support and motivation...and best of luck to all of you.

YGandMAT, Congratulations. Hope you get your 129F soon since they were sent about 2 months apart...

Congrats to all recent approvals! I'd like to add our name to the list of approvals after many months of waiting! My husband got our two approvals by mail today dated the 30th of October!!

One step closer to being reunited :D

Catou1181, congrats to you too! Great news. Keep us updated.

DITTOOOOOO.... OMG... I am still in utter shock... WE GOT APPROVED for both: I-130 & K3. I came home from work in the evening and for a moment I couldn't believe that I actually had TWO mails from USCIS waiting for me...

Wow... Thanks a lot to the Almighty AND to all the VJers for their wishes, prayers, luck... I am sure it helped a great deal along the way... THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU... Its been a long almost 6 months...Nov 13th will mark 180 days since my I-130 receipt date...

My details are pretty much same as YGandMAT's... I saw three touches last week(please see my sig below) but no updates whatsoever on CRIS after that. As a matter of fact, I just checked it again like 10 mins ago and it STILL shows pending I-130/K3. OMG.. I still cant believe that I actually have TWO NOA2s in my hand right now..

Details:

Approved I130/K3: 10/30/07 (This is the Notice Date in NOA2)

Mailed out from CSC: 11/02/07(Friday - saw on USPS mailing envelope stamp)

Received at home: 11/05/07 (Monday) Much to my surprise because USCIS CRIS status still says pending.

Once again, I 'd like to say THANKS to ALL for their wishes and prayers. For the people who are still waiting, please hang in there. You will get your NOA2 soon... My best wishes and prayers are with u..Good Luck

Regards.

pkewl, Congratulatons! Your approval matches the estimate almost to the day. So your processing time was around the average. Good luck with the next steps.

My I-129F was approved too!!!!! On October 30th. I sent it on 29 May 07 so they are working on May/ June cases. I noticed that they touched my I-129 F first and then my I-130 and the next day the same thing and then on the 1st of November the same thing. Good luck to all.

Tussie, Congratulations! Did you get the approval by email or you also got the actual NOA2s in the mail?

Congratulation to all the approval, and hopefully the rest of us follow

What I noticed from the recent approved cases is that they have sent their I-129F in May, if I am not mistaken, USCIS is going by the I-129F dates, regardless of your I-130 sent time.

G & A you have the same timeline like main, if my above guess is right then you I are getting approved in a month from now, around the first week of Dec.

I hope I am wrong and we get approved sooner,

One thing that may help get our file out of the dark to the front of the line if we make a call to the USCIS through the RFE trick, which I am asking the folks who did it to tell us how is it done?

Thanks

The average indiactes an approval date by the end of the month for me and 12/5 for you but a lot of cases have been beating the average. Fingers crossed!

Add me to the APPROVED list!!! After reading posts here this morning and seeing that online status may not change, but notice may come by snail mail, I had to immediately check (i had not picked up the mail from yesterday), and sure enough, two APPROVAL notices in the mailbox!!!! I almost fell over....(Notice date 11/1) Wow, what a long and excruciating wait. Congrats to the other approvals, and best wishes for those yet to receive.......

iray, congratulations.

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

WE GOT OUR APPROVAL FOR BOTH I-129F AND I-130 TODAY!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU WHO ALSO GOT YOURS!

BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE!!!!!!

grrrrlygrrrl, Congratulations! Did you get the approval by email or you also got the actual NOA2s in the mail?

gogo - i hear you! I hope it won't take too long. Give it a couple of weeks. I am sure they the check will be over by then.

Congrats on all the approvals...mine should come through real quick now (mailed out 5/31)....G&A, when will we have an updated chart? I'd like to see where I stand in comparison with the other applicants, since I sent in both forms at the same time. It's great to see another 2 approvals... Congratulations Iray & Grrrrlygrrrl :D

Thanks for the updated chart G&A  With all the approvals coming through, I'd been hi-lighting the people on the one I printed off at the beginning of the month to keep track of them all hehe

They say I am under "additional security checks".. I looked it up, and it is background check based on the petitioner..

that is totally wrong.. are these "security checks" spot checks on people? Some people get it , some people don't?? Even people who applied after me got approved already (even from the same country -- China --)... "iray" congrats on your approval.. he applied after me though and didn't get any security checks..

USCIS perform the same standard checks on everyone. However should the normal check show anything out of the ordinary, the file goes into additional checks. If you are stuck in a name check it may be because someone (with a record) has the same name as you and they are trying to determine that that person is not you.

I found this sites info particularly useful: http://www.murthy.com/news/n_howwhy.html It is a lawfirm but their information is generally clear and much easier to understand than the normal USCIS jargon.
