So now they're updating the K3's and still nothing for me. Can anyone answer this please..

When the service center received your I-129F from Missouri did your message change on the website from saying your case was sent to your case is pending or something like that. Mine hasn't changed at all since July 12. Should I be worried?

I would be worried but then a lot of other folks in the chart below are in the same situation. Maybe they do not always update the file to show it is now pending. According to the chart, they are 3 weeks overdue.

Maybe some of the people haven't updated the information on VJ that you put in the chart, some probably didn't get updated by USCIS, some may have been lost in the transfer. I called them a thousand times, they can't say whether it is actually in Vermont or not. This sucks.

When you have the time, maybe you could update my part. You'll notice I have 2 horses in a race now. I originally filed for K-3, but am chasing a CR-1 too...whichever comes first.

4/24/07...Check cashed

7/12/07...Received email saying "I-130 Approved"

NVC Process for I-130 CR-1:

8/7/07..Case Number assigned at NVC

8/20/07..mailed to NVC DS-3032

8/21/07..Message at NVC, "Your DS-3032 & AOS Fee Bill has been sent"

8/21/07..mailed AOS Fee Bill w/ money order to NVC

I-129F Timeline:

4/23/07--mailed I-129F to Chicago

5/01/07--Received I-797C NOA1 in mail (dated 4/27/07)

5/11/07--Email notice "Transferred to CSC"

6/04/07--Touched,Email saying "Case is now pending at CSC"

6/5/07---Touched

6/6/07---Touched

8/21/07--Touched

8/22/07--Received email notice "I-129F Approved" (120 days)

Yep. I have called for a receipt. They said to allow the processing time frame. I did have a touch on it on the 29th of June, but thats it. I will keep you informed when I receive anything from USCIS. I remember when I called USCIS and asked about that, they said that Chicago is just a distribution center. They input your info and then send it to the service center that has your I-130. But you will not loose your line #. Like I have MSC XXXXXXXXXX instead of WAC. But they said I will not loose my spot in line. Thank you by the way for updating information and helping people get informed. I know that you really dont have to do this but it has been helpful for alot of us. I really wish you luck with the process too. Its been about 4 and a half months already. Hopefully this does not take a year!!!!! For anybody

(received date on notice was April 27,2007..4 months)

Hi,

My online status changed to pending after a touch on August 10. I got the notice that they were transferring from MSC back in early June. Don't know what happened, was it lost at CSC all this time, delayed in being sent to CSC, or just not updated, but it took a lot longer that what most others in this thread have gotten. I hope this doesn't slow me down too much.

I have been away for awhile (was visiting my wife and did not feel like fretting about the visa process for that time), but I PM'ed G&A with this update to the chart.

Michael was at VSC, where they have done some May and June NOA1 K3s. Unfortunately, you were transferred to CSC where the wait is still ongoing for some March filers (although there was a recent increase in activity and much of the March filers thread is now approved), and just about all April and later filers are here waiting.
