I was the member who saw on the website that we'd been approved for the I-130 but not the I-129f...the next day both NOA2's arrived in the mail, and to this day the USCIS website still shows "pending", even though my I-129f has already passed NVC and is in Buenos Aires. You've probably been approved for both, just wait for the hard copies!

Hi everybody !!

First of all .... CONGRATS to all the approvals.

I would like to tell you guys that we got our RDJ number ( Rio de Janeiro Embassy Number ) last friday by calling NVC.

We are having 4 days holiday here in Brasil so the embassy has been closed since last Thursday.

I am going to call tomorrow afternoon We believe that our interview is already scheduled.

Let`s start a new fresh week seing more and more approvals here !!

Unfortunately, detailed review is probably what Gogo is going through at this time. You may want to read up on a few of his threads as he put some links in them that referred to this process. I'm sorry your file got stuck in this

We've emailed a few times to Buenos Aires, and we already got an "unofficial" email with the Packet 3 information, but they haven't contacted us directly letting us know that they've received it. This week hopefully....

you know what just happened? They sent me a "REPLACEMENT NOTICE OF ACTION"... that is so retarded.. they thought I had lost the 1st one.. I didn't lose anything :angry: I was told to keep everything together.. not like what they are doing... that is so ridiculous.. I just got another "NOA1" through the mail (because of my call on Thursday to them to follow up on my I-130 or I-129F and about asking for them to look at my application)... they are the most stupid people.. then they said that my application will be approved "late this year to early next year"... what the $@)(%#)% is that?

Sorry to tell you gogo, but that is what I figured they were sending you. In the thread where you told us they were sending you another NOA, I first thought they were talking about NOA2. When you said no, then posted your conversation, in a response to My Honey, I said it sounded like they thought you never got your NOA1. So they send out another.

This is the post I was refering to, I know your frustrated but lets face it you essentially told the girl that you never got the NOA1, so they sent another:

she mentioned to me that "did I get a notice of action for this".. I said "not yet".. she said she will send it to someplace called "IT" to get it done.. call back after 30 days..

at least it was right this time... with a PRIORITY DATE of 20070416... 4/16/2007... that is still 6 months right now no matter how you calculate it... well, now I WANT MY NOA2.. just like everyone else here on Visajourney.. I'm going to throw a temper tantrum on the phone to USCIS today.. this is ridiculous.. if they do "deny" my application, I'm bringing it to court too.. I have enough evidence just like everyone else.. maybe even more.. did anyone else send 20+ pictures for their I-130 (both sets of parents, me and her, me and her with both parents)?? :angry:

Hey Guys! I had an emotional rollercoaster today. I was returning home from work and as always I look hopefully at my mailbox in the thought that I might have something from USCIS or NVC. To my ellation I discovered that today there was indeed letter from NVC in Portsmouth, NH! However as I read the notice, my heart sank... I received the infamous "checklist of missing documents". They said that they recieved my I-864 AOS but they did not receive the 380.00 payment for the immigrant visa bill. I started to panic. Thankfully I have been incredibly organized in this process and I had the copy of everything. I called up NVC and spoke with the woman, she was super nice and relieved my fear that they had lost my payment. She said that it had been received after the checklist had been generated and they still had sent out the checklist anyway. Shortly after that they also sent my DS-230 Packet. So once again I am happy but damn them for playing with my emotions
