No NOA1 on I-130 after one month+

I was looking through the timelines for some of you guys, and it looks like you all got your NOA1 for the I-130 really quickly, some of you within a few days. I don't have the exact date on me at the moment, but I sent my I-130 well over a month ago, maybe even almost two months ago. My check wasn't cashed til about two weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten any sort of NOA or heard anything back from them at all. Is this normal? Is there any way for me to check on the status of it, like a phone number or email address or anything?

Thanks for any help!

Sorry to hear that. Since they cashed your check, I think you will get your NOA-1 soon. You can call 1-800-375-5283, but they will tell you to wait. Just call and see what they will have to say. Unfortunately, there is no email address, to the best of my knowledge.

Hey, thanks! Yeah, I just saw the thread on the delays they've been having recently, hopefully it'll come through soon. I don't really mind the delay as long as it it's their problem, not that I've done something wrong.

Thanks a bunch.

Since your check was cashed and if you can get a copy of the cleared check, look on the back of the check for a WAC#, this is your receipt number. You can then check the status of your case on the website, www.uscis.gov.

Yes, you can get your WAC number (your receipt #) from the back of the cleared check. Also signing up with uscis website will enable you to check your status. I don't think you have done anything wrong with your paper. Otherwise, they would have sent you the papers back for correction or with a note to send you more info and they would not have cashed your check.

I am in the same boat. I have also had the check cashed but nothing has arrived in the mail. I have access at this point to the online "proof" of the check (front and back) but is not the best clarity. can you post what number of digits the actual WAC/Receipt number is and where exaclty it is located as there are a multitude of numbers on the back of the check... some stamped top to bottom. left to right, bottom to top on 3 areas of the back. Would greatly appreciate the help and thanks for the excellent feedback already given.

Nevermind found what i needed with a little digging.

This should help:

It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number.

If you still want a copy of your NOA1, you need to call USCIS and ask for one. They'll tell you it will take about 30 days but in reality it takes a lot longer. I had to call them to get mine and I received it a week before our petition was approved.

Funny thing is, I still haven't received my NOA2. Come to think of it, it's really not that funny.
