HELP!!!

My fiance and I do not know what to put on question #21 and #22 on the DS-156 form. She is unemployed. Should she put on #21 NONE or UNEMPLOYED??

Same question for #22

But #22 on the actual form itself only provides a drop down list of dates. Does not have space available to write in the answer.

On the form from the London Embassy, it says "(Provide specific date if known) " -- will it lte you leave it blank?

If that doesn't work -- roundabout when do you think you will fly to the US?

Just leave blank and write it in, or perhaps put a tentative date.

The DS-156 is also used for other visitor types of visa, like student, visitor, business ect. so those may have a fixed travel date.

Hola Lucho, me alegra que ya esten en el proceso para reunirse... las respuestas que ella coloque logicamente tienen que ser en español porque la forma que envian es en español o sea el paquete 3.

Oye una pregunta, ustedes enviaron inmediatamente los documentos para recibir el paquete 4? Es por el corto tiempo en el que enviaron las formas de solicitud. Las bajaron por la página de internet de la embajada de bogotà?

Si quiere vaya al post "Colombian Club" de aquí para que encuentre todo tipo de preguntas relacionadas con las visas K-1/K-3. Todos son muy formalitos y nos ayudamos los unos con los otros.

You have already gotten your answer to #21 from others.

For question 22......they want an actual date. If you plan to fly your fiancee to the U.S., within a few days of the interview, put down that date.

We tried to put "as soon as the visa is approved" but it was not acceptable. When you take your DS-156 to the Banco Credito to pay the $100, they will review it for accuracy and completeness. If you have not put a date for question 22, they will ask you to estimate one.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

Unfortunately we were unable to print the DS-156 form yesterday. There was a glitch with the embassy site. Seems to be working today. We will give it another shot.
