It seems that this calling about possible RFE and getting the approval over the phone is working for those that have seen a touch online, but no status change. But I don't think there's anything to do for those of us that don't have a touch at all....just wait some more. :( I'm so bummed! :(

Congrats!!! Can I ask what you said when you called about the "RFE"? I called the address # change and didnt get anything... Also can you rub some of your good luck this way???

absolutly...follow the prompts to get to case status/rfe...took 3 or 4 minutes for someone to pick-up...i told him the truth...that our petition had been scanned on the 8th and i had not received any info since, and i stated that i was inquiring about a possible rfe...the way i worded it was a little confusing...just hoping he would input our receipt number and see what would pop-up...he just said, "your petition was approved on the 7th", and i immdiately asked, "when was it mailed to the nvc?"...and he said it was mailed on the 10th...wahoo!!!!!

Thanks SO much, we were touched 3 and 4th and NOTHING. That is amazing for you and I hope the NVC/consulate stages go just as fast!

I just called USCIS for the first time, just to see what they would say. I told him I needed to verify my mailing address. He read me the same screen I read everyday: "On February 27, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)..." Then he told me he has no access to any information. He then tried to instruct me to change my address online. It was a wasted phone call, but worth a try... :help:

Ditto for us, lets try the RFE route!

I dont think the change address route gets to the call center at CSC. You may have to use the RFE route.

I honestly feel that touches or no touches, calls or no calls really don't have anything to do with it. Don't lose hope because you haven't had any "touches".

Congratulations to the OP.
