I haven't checked back lately with everyone who is waiting on their NOA2 for I-129F. What's been the timeline lately, between NOA1 and NOA2? Just curious as to whether USCIS is getting over the hump in terms of the big surge they got when the fees increased.

The timeline is around 6 months an increasing. USCIS has never gotten over thw H! visa hump in late March. The price increase is their third excuse since March.

From my checking/tracking of immigration timeline search for K1/K3 NOA2 at CSC from 10/01/07 thru 10/19/07, so far we have had about:

Atleast as reported my VJ members thru their timelines.

Congrats to ALL who got approved and wish you all the best for the rest of your VJ and all the best for the people still waiting too

When I look at these numbers you can hardly believe what you are seeing:

8 K3 NOA2 from CSC

50 K1 NOA2 from CSC

I believe USCIS claims they process K3 just as fast as K1's but this speaks EXTREMELY Loud!!! There are no more words for your feelings about this process.

I received an email from USCIS for the RFE and here is what it said:

Please allow at least 30 days or more for the case to be entered in the electronic system and a receipt notice to be generated.

But, I recieved an email on 10/15/2007 showing it has been received and pending. Actually on the USCIS website it shows for case status as received and pending. Why would it take 30 days or more to be entered into their system. Do these people not know what they are doing? Are they typing with their toes??? All USCIS has prolonged each in everyone of us with our applications and then you see a status of ONLY 8 K3 NOA2 from CSC. However, 50 K1's. So, heartbreaking and devasting results!! At this point having our families here for Christmas is totally out of the question. But, you better believe our Government officials will spend time with their family this Christmas... :crying::crying::crying:

I have just called USCIS, and the customer service agent, who was very nice, told me it actually took USCIS almost a month to open and input my I130 petition. So although we are all April filers, USCIS is using the May "received" date, which gives them until November. My issues are these, are they going to wait until the last possible date to approve my petitions? , and why are they approving K-1's faster than K-3's, when we all filed and paid extra for faster processing. The agent could not answer my questions... I have heard nothing from USCIS concerning my petitions, the agent said that was a good thing, meaning they do not need additional information. My guess is as good as you alls in regard to how USCIS are approving petitions.

Hello JG0407,

For some reason USCIS is speaking the "NEW" verbage of 30 days to input information into their electronic system. Does anyone know if they changed systems? New system means a learning curve and ANOTHER DELAY FOR EVERYONE!! OH MY GOD!!!! 30 days or more now seams to be their majic words. Are they typing blind folded, or toe typing, or do we type one word a day??

How crazy!!!!!!!!! What do you all think?????????????? How annoying...

Honey,

I agree one word per day.. Talking with friends and family who have never gone through this process, cannot believe how long and frustrating a time we are having. But saying this we have to remain positive or it will eat us up inside. Some days I am border line crazy, especially after speaking with my wife. USCIS, whatever you all are doing, please hurry up.

Pkewl,

Can you find out between March filers and April filers how many RFE's were issuied? This would be interesting to know.

Thanks,

Hi My Honey,

I tried searching the K3 Visa timelines search to answer your query and this is what I found, which, I am sorry to say so, but is not much. Here is what I found:

Looking RFE(s) based on March and April Filers:

Total # of K3(s) sent to CSC in April '07: 27

No RFE (atleast as reported per VJ's K3 timeline search)

Total # of K3(s) sent to CSC in March '07: 36

Total # of RFE(s): 2

RFE Info/Dates:

------------- Revcd ------------- Sent -------------- NOA2 ----------------------------- Profile Name

RFE 1 --- 08/22/07------------ 09/14/07 --------- None reported in timeline----- hopeful1

RFE 2 --- 09/05/07------------ 10/04/07 --------- None reported in timeline ---- Sangrita (I130 Approved: 08/27/07)

Looking RFE(s) based on Recent K3 NOA2 from CSC

For the Month of Oct:

Total # of K3 NOA2 recvd so far: 8

Out of which 1 had RFE; RFE Notice date: 09/31/2007; No info on when VJ member replied with the RFE; K3 NOA2: 10/16/2007. Member Name: 7ub6686. Please refer to his/her timeline for more info

For the Month of Sept:

Total # of K3 NOA2 recvd: 12

Out of which 1 had RFE; RFE Notice date: 04/01/2007; RFE Replied: 04/07/2007; K3 NOA2: 09/12/2007. Member name: Ricker. Please refer to his timeline for more info.

For the Month of Aug:

Total # of K3 NOA2 recvd: 25

And from the VJ timeline, it seems like NO ONE had a RFE (at least as reported or not by the VJ members who got their K3 NOA2 in August).

I know this probably doesn't help you much but this is the closest info I could gather to answer your query. Sorry. If someone else can mine better data, pls feel free to add to this.

Good Luck to u and ALL.

Thank you for all your hard work! I will look over this but, I believe on the timeline it only asks for RFE K3. Which our RFE was for the I-130. Or maybe I just didn't understand where it needed to go. Anyway, I thought maybe this would be interesting to take a look at! But, thank you very much for all the information! Have a nice weekend!!!! Best of luck!!!

According to the CSC processing times, the I-130 is still at 6 months and the I-129F K1-K2 are at April 12th. If the two hypothesis, or untested theories, hold true our approvals should be soon because both are in April.

Hypothesis 1. CSC K1-k2 timelines are the same as K3-K4.

Hypothesis 2. CSC is going by I-130 receipt dates because both petitions are paired together.

Timeline

i am coming to think that we are going to be the first ones to experience new time frame for visa processing.

when my ex husband filed K-1 for me in 1997, until then, it was an easy 4 week process, but it changed to 6 months flat! six unnerving months. my lawyer did not have an answer for me about it, he was too puzzled by the delay. my husband flew to talk to consul, we called everywhere ,God, we suffered so much, desperate to be together again. we thought that it was not going to work. and that unexpectedly long separation....it makes my stomach turn when i remember how despondent i felt, waiting and not knowing what is happening.

but now, because of that i am much stronger, going through the reverse process, as a sponsor. i feel bad for my husband, who's life is on limbo in Brasil. he is not here, not there, and i give lots of emotional support to my husband, and i encourage him to relax as much as he can, to not feel guilty or as a burden, and to enjoy the time of not having immediate plans.

now, it's been 10 years since this 'new' time frame. maybe as of now it will take a year or longer. I HOPE NOT, though.

i remember that even back then they were doing extensive security background checks, i can imagine that today rules are way more rigorous.
