new manila interview dates?

Hi friends,

As some of you may know, my girl had her interview postponed since they needed to perform additional medical tests.

She passed, and so they needed to reschedule her interview.

I noticed that the manila interview website has been down for days now...

Does anybody know when the new interview dates will be out for the us embassy in manila?

And do you know how long we will have to wait this time?

There's an Election going on now in the Phils. Maybe thats the reason why they havent updated their post yet. Everybody is busy there now coz its a nationwide election.

There's an Election going on now in the Phils. Maybe thats the reason why they havent updated their post yet. Everybody is busy there now coz its a nationwide election.

And being an election day, its also been declared a holiday, so nobody is working at the embassy today. The new dates usually are posted around the 15th of the month. Good luck on getting a new interview date ElMasGuapo. I'm pretty restless myself waiting to see if my wife will interview in June or July.

Exact same thing happened to my wife. Interview orginally scheduled for March 28th was cancelled by St. Lukes. Approiximately April 10th she passed the medical and the embassy told her it would be 2 to 3 months to get a new interview. Didn't take nearly that long. On April 20th the website showed her interview scheduled for June 6th :-) She got her appointment letter finally last week.

So... don't worry. Probably will take about 2 weeks or so then the interview will be about 6 weeks after that. That's if it happens for you all as it did for us.

I hate to say it, but I feel a little better inside knowing that somebody went through the same fiasco we went through at st. lukes...

It was really frustrating as we were so happy to finally be together, and now another delay..

Oh well, hopefully soon I'll get a new interview date.

Oh, hey I also wanted to mention my wife went to the embassy in person to ask to be rescheduled. I don't know if that makes a difference or not but we sure were very pleasantly surpried to be rescheduled so quickly. She called also but I'm not even sure that does any good at all. I think it's best to go there in person if at all possible.

Go here...

...and scroll down until you see a link titled "Click here and check for your case number".

Click that and you will then see a box to enter your case number. It will give you the app't dates (st. lukes and embassy) if it has been assigned. Keep in mind it is down sometimes. Right now is one of those times. Keep checking. Eventually it will be active.

The interview list link is operational again. I don't know if new appointments are posted yet, I only know mine is not.

I called the embassy and they said to check back the 2nd week of june...

Well I haven't seen anyone say yet that their interview was posted during May, so I still expect some new information any day now. Unless they are skipping June interviews. I can't wait until the middle of June, because I'm expecting a late June interview (well hoping anyway). I'll have to call DOS as soon as NVC tells me they've sent my case to Manila.

Thanks, and congratulations on your interview date. Mine is not there. But since my date is scheduled by NVC, maybe it will come later. Actually I don't mind if Fely and I have to wait as long as August, I'd just like to know when. Congrats again.
