Ok i know that i asked the question of who send the interview date out for the philippines....The NVC or the Embassy, and at the point that i asked that question the answer was "NVC schedules interviews for immigrant visas applicants in Canada, Albania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the continent of Africa that was 1 Mar 06." But now if you goto the Department of State Website.....It has change to " Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants (applying in Albania, Canada, Lebanon, Philippines, Turkey, United Arab Emirates or on the continent of Africa)" http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...types_1309.html

So does this mean the NVC is going to schedule the interview?

Can anyone help me here.....I am confused

If that is the case......do i need my wife to send all the required documents to me.....if so i cna have her mail those off now

When you click on that link and choose the Philippines application procedures, you get a list of documents that you must obtain and send to the NVC before the interview will be scheduled.

Note that any document that you send them, such as NBI clearance and Affidavit of Support, that has an expiration date will have to be replaced with a current one at the time of the interview. The file will contain the documents and be sent to the embassy by the NVC, but the documents will need to be current and valid at the time of the interview.

The NVC works with the U.S. Embassy in Manila to schedule the interviews for CR-1/IR-1.

I just returned from Manila after attending my wife's successful IR-1 interview.

Hahaha they added Lebanon. Maybe they did this just for my insanity ??

I was wondering why Lebanon wasn't on there when I knew NVC was scheduling my interview (where or where are you dear interview?).

Why do you think they add countries like that ?
