I'm kinda getting impatient now lol! I was expecting the text from sms telling me my passport will be delivered tomoro! They advised me that I should get it within 3 wrking days (which will be 2moro). I'm hoping that its because they just didnt txt me! Wouldnt be worrying but my flight is next week!!!! :) Anyways - u guys know me - the serial worrier!!! Lol.

It can take much longer than 3-5 working days. That's the standard time frame but it can arrive sooner or much later.

I'm gonna have to say it...you really shouldn't have booked your flights until you had the visa in your hand. It is something that most of us here will stress to people if asked. You never can tell how long these things take, unfortunately.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that yours arrives soon, okay? :)

I belive my interview was the same day as yours, may 4th, I havent had mine delivered either, fortunately I don't have flights booked yet.

Don't worry, it's coming :) Andy's passport w/ K-1 wasn't delivered until a week later. For us, it DID feel like "Of course they're not going to send it UNTIL we get worried", hehe. That just seems to be the way it goes!

Did they set it up where they said you'll receive a phone text from the courier the day before he/she is slated to deliver it? If so, definately prepare to stay home all day or have someone stay home all day to receive it. They texted Andy that it would be delivered "Between 9AM and 6PM". He woke bright and early at 9AM, and the courier arrived at [i am not kidding] 5:56PM!!! Hopefully you'll get a better courier though!

It's on it's way!! I hope it gets to you soon :)

Man, if we end up falling into the long-delay-delivery camp I think I'll froth at the mouth! I imagine the feeling is akin to what I felt when I got two touches and NO ACTION for another week. All that expectation and then . . . quiet! Ugh!

I DO understand, however mine was slightly different situation....big work up for the interview then bam, an RFE but it was ok,...only a two week delay for me and I had a REALLY quick delivery after they issued my visa, just was two weeks after the interview. As soon as I had the visa in hand I called the airline and booked my flight :lol:

K-1 visa issued: 12/15/2006

I'm so happy now - theres nothing stopping me - I'm off to be wit my baby a week today!
