why our case i-130 transfered from vermont to california?

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for

processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

hello everybody

please i want you to explain tome the following beacuse i am confused...when the uscis require for FURTHER evidence of our licence marriage WE sent it back and we got a notice they said taht they got it and now our case processing has been rsumed yet on Monday 7,2007 we got email says:

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for

processing because it has jurisdiction over the case. we transferred this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR

RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for

processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case

what does this mean ?????????????? PLEASE i really apprecite your replies

I assume your petition was in Vermont as well? *Edit: I just saw it was.

They seem to be spreading the petitions to ease their workload.

6/04/2009 - check cashed (fast!)

6/08/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 6/01)

6/22/2009 - received Biometrics Appt. Notice

7/01/2009 - received rescheduled Appt. Notice

7/23/2009 - Biometr. Appt.

7/24/2009 - A touch, a touch!

8/20/2009 - APPROVED! Oh, glorious day!

8/25/2009 - Card production e-mail received

8/31/2009 - Card received. Error :(

9/05/2009 - Returned green card with evidence of error & I-90

9/16/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 9/14)

10/27/2009 - Correct card issued
