Thanks everyone! I just called DoS and all that they told me was my paperwork was received today. Last week they told me it was received July 9. None of this process makes sense to me. :lol:

My fella called the DoS line today and had a nice lil chat with the "Good Luck Dude"..... he said that they have received my packet 3 and that we are now eligible for an interview date....and of course....he wished us good luck!

I also called and told we were eligible for an interview date today. It was some lady who couldn't wait to get off the phone, but I had my news - so neither could I!

Update: We are now eligible for an interview. Don't have a date, but at least they have us in the system. This is good news

I got a reply to one of my emails that was "deleted without being read" today:
The administrative processing of the application has been completed. We note that the marriage ceremony will take place in October. The appointment for the visa interview will be scheduled in September.

I was hoping for August, but oh well. As long as it's not too late in September so that we'll be cutting it close, I don't mind.

Well hopefully it won't be long now for you guys!! At least they have it entered into the black hole that is their computer system. That was quick, Jen! Seems like you guys got entered in REALLY fast - so that's good to hear. And Cari, at least you should be fine on your wedding date. Have a huge sigh of relief margarita now!

Congrats again, Daisy on the visa!

Oh, and by the way - got a PM for ValWes...their interview date was today - not last week. Oopsie. So hopefully we'll hear something soon on them!

Oh, today is a good day.....we got our interview date!!!! August 8th at 10 AM. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I am still shaking. Right, now flights, time off, etc.
