Really belated email from the USCIS!

I just got this email from the USCIS. My NOA2 was approved on APRIL 4th. I got the letter in the mail and everything.

On May 3, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

I guess their upgrade of the email system is catching some of those old, overdue emails. Bet you won't be the only one who gets one!!!

I just thought it was really weird. This is why all my fellow Jan filers shouldn't freak out over the internet-alert system, I think. :blink:

We got our email that our K-3 was approved in feb 2007, funny thing is we had our interview in Nov. of 2006...we did get a snail mail in Sept. 2006 makes ya wonder where the email got lost?? bet they sent it out when they put our file away.

OUR K-3 INTERVIEW WAS ON NOV. 1ST @ 10:00!!!

VISA APPROVED!!!

WE ARRIVE IN THE USA ON NOV. 10TH!!!

Mar. 27-Found VJ, and became disappointed for not being able to use VSC.

Mar. 27-Applied for military expedite and got congressional help.

Mar. 28-touched.

Mar. 30-touched yet again.

Apr. 04-touched another time.

Apr. 05-touched some more.

May 15-touched once again.

May 15-NOA2. 78 days...WOW!!!

Definately worth repeating this! My CRIS email telling me my K-1 petition was approved the same day it left NVC for the consulate. (and only after I called USCIS and they manually updated the system).

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.
