I attended interview at chennai on 17th april 2007 for j1 visa as a teacher

I am given both pink and blue forms. The VO said that I need not attend consulate again ,have to use droop box to send passport and original ds2019 when and then I am informed what to do further ..doesn’t need to contact the consulate . Un until then apply for the new passport. How ever the visa will not be stamped on the old passport.

Its clear that they gave me blue slip because I have almost finish pages in my passport with different countries stamps.( Malaysia ,Singapore,Thailand,England.france)

I dint understand why I am given pink slip.

The lady in front of me ( who is from the same agency as me ) has got her visa approved from the same VO in matter of 5 minutes with out any questions asked.

Another teacher from the same agency who also received pink form has got his passport with visa stamped in it after 12days.

Few teachers who received blue forms were contacted by consulate and latter issued visa.

I have received my new passport .now my question is whether to send my passport and ds2019 through vfs or have to wait until they contact me. my case number is 2007106-135-11 it displays pending process in pdf form on counsulate web site. My email: nazirahamedsd@yahoo.com cont no: 00919440960135. I am very depressed .i guess I haves very less chances of getting success .please advise what shall i do now.

Hello,

Here is my take on your AR/AP right now.

1. nazirahamed sounds like a male muslim name. If you are a male and muslim coming from certain countries you always endure some type of AR/AP and there is no set time limit.

2.

Malaysia ,Singapore,Thailand,England.france
You have traveled extensively and the embassy/consulate must verify all travels before they will issue your visa.

Please take this journey one day at a time; stay positive and please wait on the embassy to contact you and then do as they request.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.
