I called the embassy in Zagreb, Croatia today to see if they received petition from NVC and they did yesterday!!! They sent out both packages with interview date today so I should have them tomorrow. Interview date is November 26, 10am!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: My honey's birthday!!! They also told me to get my medical done asap, emailed me right away the info what doctors I can contact. So I arranged an appointment for tomorrow. It's so nice to be able to get fast and accurate info for a change!

Just to give a ray of sunshine to everyone.... after the NVC gets your case, it MOVES SO FAST!!!! The NVC sent out our case to the Consulate in London on Oct. 30, they received it in London on NOVEMBER 1 AND..... sent out our Packet 3 on Nov. 1 as well!!! :wacko: SUCH a welcome change from all the months spent THUMB-TWIDDLING waiting on our NOA2.

Ok, since the excitement of receiving my NOA-2 has fizzled, what do I do next? Wait for the hard copy of the NOA-2 via snail mail? Then what? Please explain how to check if my papers have been sent to NVC. Once they reach NVC, will I receive a notice from them telling me when my papers are sent to the embassy in Bogota? I got the intitial process of filing for the K-1 down, now I need help for the stages leading up to the interview. Can someone break it down for me?

To check if your petition as made it to NVC: call 603-334-0700, 1, 5. Call a few days after getting approved to make sure they have it. Transfers from CSC are taking 14-30+ days. They will ask for your info and can tell you if they have your petition, new case number (once they get it) and when they forward to the embassy. The only way to find this out is by calling. NVC will also send you a letter in the mail with all the info once they forward your petition to the embassy. You should also get your NOA2 in the mail.
