WOW!!!!!! I just posted my question a little while ago and read the subsequent posts, so I decided to look at the USCIS website just now and guess what, my status changed to:

APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

I am so psyched, I can hardly stand it!!!!

Not left behind!!!

Congratulations!!!!

Just received an email that my petition has been Approved !!!

Thank you everyone for your support! I hope everyone else in May is approved soon!

How did you find out? did you call with RFE trick?

Stephan, still left behind :angry:

I checked this morning and we hadn't received a touch. I went to lunch and came back and I noticed that we got a touch. I clicked on the receipt number and it stated that we had been approved September 24th. I checked my e-mail and there was the approval e-mail. :)

It would be a great help to those of us waiting if the people who were recently approved would update or provide a timeline. It makes the process of determining waiting times so much easier!

10/10/2007: Touch, Touch again 10/17 due to phone call

10/18/2007: Received RFE Hard Copy via snail mail

10/20/2007: Resent RFE information to CSC

I feel kind of bad about changing my display name to Cantankerous just a couple of days ago and now it seems strange to see all of the wonderful congratulations with such a grumpy name... I was really crabby and now I am happy ... I hope the NVC doesn't make me into my name again.

Anyone have any good news on CSC & VSC to the NVC?

When I got approved it was sent to NVC within 2 days and then sent to the embassy within another 2 days but it seems that others that were approved before me are still waiting.

This waiting never ends :wacko:

Let's just hope that whatever was clogging up the USCIS pipeline has been flushed and that the rest of this process will start to flow smoothly at this point in time. :thumbs: I am hoping all May filers get approved this week. :thumbs:

Hi Mirla...mine was transferred to the CSC. I never signed up for the email updates. I would just go to the link to check status occassionally and input the receipt number to see if anything changed. Finally, today it did!
