I went and checked my status today and I got a touch on the 24th. I'm not jumping to conclusions but I'm REALLY REALLY HOPEFUL!!!!

Sometime in April: Mailed I129F to USCIS

5/31/2007 ~ NAO1 (online)

9/6/2007 ~ Touch (used RFE trick)

9/24/2007 ~ NAO2 (online and email)

9/25/2007 ~ Touch

9/27/2007 ~ NAO2 (hardcopy received)

10/22/2007 ~ Case received at NVC

10/24/2007 ~ Case forwarded to Japanese embassy!

11/2/2007 ~ Sayaka receives Packet 3!!!

12/3/2007 ~ Interview and approval

12/5/2007 ~ Visa came in the mail

1/12/2008 ~ Sayaka's flight arrives in the US!!!

Oct. 22, 2007 - NOA2 Hard Copy received!! No email/website update.

Nov. 16, 2007 - Paperwork found & received by NVC!

Jan. 7, 2008 - Finally got the interview date

Jan. 28, 2008 - Interview!! Approved!!!

Feb. 12, 2008 - Arrives in USA!!!

Feb. 18, 2008 - Wedding Day!!!!!!

Feb. 19, 2008 - Apply for SSN

AOS Timeline:

Mar. 12, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - Husband's SSN arrives

Mar. 14, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered at 7:52 AM & signed for by V BUSTAMANTE.

Mar. 18, 2008 - Check cashed!!

Mar. 21, 2008 - NOA's for AOS, EAD & I-131!! (Dated 3-18-08)

Mar. 31, 2008 - Can finally see AP & EAD online!!

Apr. 10, 2008 - Biometrics finished! Can finally see AOS online & EAD touch!

May 12, 2008 - Email: AP approved!!

May 14, 2008 - Email: EAD approved!!

May 16, 2008 - EAD card & AP in hand!!

Sept 19, 2008 - Interview letter - Oct. 24th - Seattle??

Oct. 21, 2008 - A Touch..WOW!! The interviewer must've put it on his/her desk!

Oct. 24, 2008 - Interview..now back to waiting!

Nov 13, 2008 - Approved! Card Production Ordered...finally!!

Nov 24, 2008 - Card arrives!!!!

I am right before (5/29) you and I haven't gotten a touch, not even after my last phone calls. I called today and the unhelpful but nonetheless nice lady gave me the usual run-around ("applications currently checked are the one from March 15..." yeah right...) and apparently my file hasn't been adjudicated or even moved from the shelf it has been waiting on for 4 months. Getting desperate here...

I am getting the "I check the USCIS page every 5 minutes"-syndrome, I need to stop...

11/05/07 case sent by NVC to Bern (31 days since NOA2). Sibylle will be contacted once they physically receive the file. Getting prepared for the interview...

11/26/07 Interview scheduled PASSED!!!

11/30/06 Visa in hands!!!!!!!

10/20/07 Sibylle lands at LAX for good (aside for a round-trip to Bern for the interview when it eventually comes) on a 3 months VWP...

12/09/07 Sibylle lands back in LA

12/24/07 Administrative marriage in the US!!

When am I supposed to get married...in Winter!!???? Under 40 degress??? I always dream about getting married on summer or maybe spring but OUTDOORS!!! Now what am I supposed to do!!!!! :angry:

9/18/07 Called USCIS, told to wait 6 months before checking status

9/24/07 Called USCIS, used RFE trick, told that last document sent was NOA1

9/25/07 Touch

10/9/07 Called USCIS, used RFE trick, told that last document sent was NOA1 and that case is pending

10/11/07 TOUCH!

10/12/07 TOUCH AND APPROVAL E-MAIL NOTIFICATION! WOOHOO!!!! Notice sent 10/11. (144 days from filing)

10/15/07 NOA2 hardcopy in-hand!

10/17/07 Packet 3 paperwork completed, given to relative who will hand deliver to fiancee in Laos on the 19th

10/17/07 Waiting for NVC to receive case
