well, it's 10:33am at csc...i imagine they are all just strolling into work from a nice morning set on the waves...having coffee, yakin' about the weekend, maybe some of them are still hungover and can't wait to get to thier desks and take a nap...WAKE UP AND GET TO WORK CSC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO SEE SOME NOA2'S!!!

Dont be surprised if you dont receive any touches before the NOA2. I didnt get a single touch, just a NOA2 from the get go.

I called USCIS today and got... NOTHING! No surprise there! The lady did argue with me about the work visas that came in recently, she said they have NOTHING to do with the K1 cases and that some people are approved sooner based on the COUNTRY they are filing from... :hehe:

Frankly - that makes a lot more sense than that nonsense about the 45 day lag time because of the H visa filers. Think about it: for the same reason a lawyer skilled in work visas easily and frequently f-s up family-based immigration; and the same reason why people ask questions based in false presumptions here that confuse tourist and immigrant visa bases - well, do you think it's a one-adjudicator-fits-all situation?

My guess is there are sections at an SC just like there would be at any company - people are skilled in certain processes and not in others. Some might cross-over, but who knows.

All I'm saying is that, in this case, I would believe the USCIS help-line people more than the congressional staffer who gave you the other info.

I thought the beneficiary's country is not supposed to be come into play at this stage of the process? I mean, all of us petitioners are USC's so there's even footing there....why does it matter where are SO's are from? Obviously there is some truth in what you're saying, because of in the past few months there have been two filers w/ SO's from Cuba and both got approved in record time (one in 5 days, the other in 7 and both were w/ CSC) while the rest of us should count ourselves lucky if we get approval at or around the 90 day mark. But I still don't see why the beneficiary's country makes any dayum difference? And if it does, what exactly is that difference? Which are those countries that get approved 'sooner,' and why? Any thoughts? :unsure:
