Biometric done!

We got to the office like 2 hours early, I told the lady that we are coming from Reading and it's like 2 hours and 20 minutes from Philly. She just handed the paper and told me to fill it out and then give it to the other lady. There was 13 people in front of him, it only took us 1 hour and at 1:00 pm we left and got enough time to catch the next bus leaving at 1:55.

It was really nice!..

Hey guys...

Just wondering if any one has traveled into Newark International Airport with the I-751 extension letter and the old expired greencard?

Or any feed back on traveling with the extenstion letter at all would make my nerves feel much better. I heard they gave a friend of mine a hard time when traveling into JFK.

Also I am looking for feed back ....has anyone rescheudled their biometrics via mail? we had to do that because despite me stating clearly in 3 different letters that we would be out of the country the month of august they still made our appointment for the 8th of August. I sent the letter back the day we got it with a request for a change and the reason we could not show ....just wondering how long people have waited when rescheduling.

As we are now out of the country I am doubly as concerned so any feedback would be so helpful.

Thanks guys-

My wife and I came back from Italy with her expired GC. We for got the extension letter and almost got a $260 fine. The guy at the check point asked for the letter and the guy in the back room suggested that we get the I-551 stamp.

Lumpy115, I hope you are right. From reviewing the time lines of the March filers, they received their NOAs within two weeks. For those who filed in April, the NOA dates have been as long as 30 days or more out. That would mean the second half of October and into November for approvals. Hay - for a guy, I do not mind being wrong om this one.

Goooo VSC

For reference, My 751 was received in Vermont on April 23rd.

I got my blue letter on May 21.

I had my biometrics done August 1.

I hope everyone who is still waiting get theirs soon.
