Delivery of Visa in Philippines

Hi to all,

My question is: Is it possible to have the visa delivered to another address other than the one provided on the I-129f form? If not, is it possible for her to pick it up in person?

Our problem is that we would like to avoid going back to Mindanao after the interview to the address she put in the I-129f form. We would rather have it delivered to her parents house in Samar or pick it up in person.

Thanks for any replies,

Kevin

hypocrit - a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

They will deliver to whatever address you give them. Keep in mind they will only release it to your fiancee or to someone she has given written permission to and she must also leave a picture ID with that person. You can also request that the visa be picked up. To do this you need to make the request in writing directly to the CO at the conclusion of her interview. This is usually only successful when the petitioner is present for the interview. Will you be there? From what I have seen requests from only the benficiary to pick up visa are not usually sucessfull although there are a few exceptions.

I suspect that a different address can be requested at time of interview. When we interviewd in China, we had to fill out a currior dilivery form and pay a mailing fee.

Delivery of visas

The Embassy uses a guaranteed courier service to deliver issued visas. Applicants must pay for this service and need need not return to the Embassy to pick up their visas. Visas are delivered directly to the applicant’s home or office in most cases, in seven to ten days of issuance, depending on the delivery location.

Yes! I'm planning on being there for the interview! Gosh, that will be so great if we can either pick up the visa or have it delivered to her parents house where we will be staying. It will save us alot of airfare and travel time. Thanks for the replies! I really appreciate it. :D
