Quick question:

Can my fiancee hand over the document directly at the consulate window instead of mailing it? If yes, what is the process.

04/27/2007 - Packet3 sent to the Consulate.

07/20/2007 - Interview. Received 221g (more relationship documents)

10/11/2007 - Biometrics for AOS and EAD

I don't believe you can. I have not heard of any K1/K3/CR-IR1 visa applicant going directly to the embassy (New Delhi) or any of the consulates to hand deliver documents.

Others from India may want to chime in, if this is not the case.

Mumbai does accept it. My fiancee went to the consulate (early morning queue) and handed over the Packet3 at the information window.
